Milions d\u2019obres art\u00edstiques, imatges, exposicions, llibres i incl\u00fas diaris sencers s\u2019han produ\u00eft recentment utilitzant aquestes apps, la qual cosa implica una transformaci\u00f3 de com es relaciona l\u2019acci\u00f3 humana amb l\u2019autoria art\u00edstica.\r\n\r\nLa gran velocitat d\u2019aquesta transformaci\u00f3 porta al sector creatiu a profunds dubtes, temors i preguntes: son aquestes aplicacions veritablement creatives? Com hem de reaccionar nosaltres davant aquesta nova realitat? Quina \u00e9s la nova posici\u00f3 de l\u2019art professional davant un proc\u00e9s d\u2019automatitzaci\u00f3 que amena\u00e7a la seva pr\u00f2pia superviv\u00e8ncia?\r\n\r\nLes q\u00fcestions que envolten\u00a0<strong>el desplegament de la IA com a agent creatiu<\/strong>\u00a0son existencials, per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 socials, pol\u00edtiques i ecoc\u00f2miques. I totes elles es tornen urgents per la velocitat i l\u2019abs\u00e8ncia de regulaci\u00f3 en qu\u00e8 s\u2019est\u00e0 produ\u00efnt aquesta transformaci\u00f3.\u00a0<strong>Haur\u00edem d\u2019exigir l\u00edmits? Necessitem arribar a acords perqu\u00e8 el sector art\u00edstic i el tecnol\u00f2gic puguin avan\u00e7ar per camins paral\u00b7lels sense obstaculitzar-se mutuament?<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>El centre d\u2019arts Santa M\u00f2nica de Barcelona<\/strong>\u00a0ha programat un taller intensiu per abordar totes aquestes q\u00fcestions urgents.\u00a0<strong>L\u20191 de desembre de 2023<\/strong>, especialistes internacionals es reuniran i exposaran p\u00fablicament les seves idees per a la redacci\u00f3 d\u2019un manifest cultural dirigit als responsables dels desenvolupaments en IA. Lluny de negar o frenar la realitat tecnol\u00f2gica en qu\u00e8 estem immersos, aquest manifest ha d\u2019esbossar les preocupacions i exig\u00e8ncies del sector creatiu davant els processos d\u2019automatitzaci\u00f3 en curs i els seus perills.\r\n\r\nAquest taller est\u00e0 previst que sigui el primer d\u2019una llista d\u2019actes posteriors que tindran lloc en diverses institucions art\u00edstiques europees.\r\n\r\nAquest projecte est\u00e0 comissariat per Andrew Keen i Enric Puig, i comptar\u00e0 amb contribucions presencials de: Margaret Heffernan, Stephen Marche, Viktor Mayer-Schonberger, Joana Moll, Joan Soler-Adillon, la contribuci\u00f3 audiovisual as\u00edncrona de Hito Steyerl, i d\u2019altres pendents de confirmar.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>Convocat\u00f2ria oberta per a artistes &amp; investigadores<\/strong>\r\n\r\nEl centre d\u2019arts Santa M\u00f2nica convoca a artistes i investigadores interessades a assistir al taller intensiu que se celebrar\u00e0 a Barcelona l\u20191 de desembre de 2023.\r\n\r\nEl taller est\u00e0 obert a tots aquells assistents que estiguin implicats des del sector art\u00edstic amb la IA, no necessariament treballant amb ella, per\u00f2 preocupats pel tema de l\u2019avan\u00e7ament en les arts i que desitgin escoltar les primeres aportacions d\u2019experts amb l\u2019objetiu de seguir treballant conjuntament cap a una versi\u00f3 final del manifest.\r\n\r\nA m\u00e9s de l\u2019esborrany del manifest, que s\u2019espera que estigui finalitzat a inici de 2024,\u00a0<strong>el centre d\u2019arts Santa M\u00f2nica tamb\u00e9 planteja la possibilitat de realitzar una gran exposici\u00f3<\/strong>\u00a0basada en els resultats d\u2019aquesta conversa i en el propi manifest. Y todas ellas se vuelven urgentes por la velocidad y la ausencia de regulaci\u00f3n en la que se est\u00e1 produciendo esta transformaci\u00f3n.\u00a0<strong>\u00bfDeber\u00edamos exigir l\u00edmites? \u00bfNecesitamos llegar a acuerdos para que el sector art\u00edstico y el tecnol\u00f3gico puedan avanzar por caminos paralelos sin obstaculizarse mutuamente?<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>El centro de artes Santa M\u00f3nica de Barcelona<\/strong>\u00a0ha programado un taller intensivo para abordar todas estas cuestiones urgentes.\u00a0<strong>El 1 de diciembre de 2023,<\/strong>\u00a0especialistas internacionales se reunir\u00e1n y expondr\u00e1n p\u00fablicamente sus ideas para la redacci\u00f3n de un manifiesto cultural dirigido a los responsables de los desarrollos en IA. Millions of artistic works, images, exhibitions, books and even entire newspapers have been recently produced using this apps, which implies a transformation of how human action relates with the artistic authorship.\r\n\r\nThe great speed of this transformation leads the creative sector to deep doubts, fears and questions: are these applications truly creative? How should we react to this new reality? What is the new position of the professional art towards an automation process that threatens its own survival?\r\n\r\nThe questions surrounding\u00a0<strong>the deployment of AI as a creative agent<\/strong>\u00a0are existential, but also social, political and economic. And all these become urgent for the speed and absence of regulation in which this transformation is taking place.\u00a0<strong>Should we call for limits? Do we need to reach agreements so that the artistic and technological sectors can advance along parallel paths without hindering each other?<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>Santa M\u00f2nica<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Arts Centre in Barcelona<\/strong>\u00a0has scheduled an intensive workshop to address all these urgent issues. On\u00a0<strong>December 1st, 2023<\/strong>, international specialists will meet and publicly present their ideas for the drafting of a cultural manifesto aimed at people responsible for developments in AI. Far from denying or stopping the technological reality in which we are immersed, this manifesto has to outline the concerns and demands of the creative sector upon the ongoing automation processes and their dangers.\r\n\r\nThis workshop is planned to be the first of a list of further events that will take place in several European artistic institutions.\r\n\r\nThis project is curated by Andrew Keen and Enric Puig, and will feature contributions by: Margaret Heffernan, Stephen Marche, Viktor Mayer-Schonberger, Joana Moll, Joan Soler-Adillon, the asynchronous audiovisual contribution of Hito Steyerl, and others to be confirmed.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>Open call for artists &amp; researchers<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe Santa M\u00f2nica Arts Centre calls on artists and researchers interested in attending the intensive workshop in Barcelona on December 1st, 2023.\r\n\r\nThe workshop is open to all those attendees who are involved from the artistic sector with AI, not necessarily working with it, but concerned about the issue of its advance in the arts and wishing to hear the first contributions from experts with the aim of jointly continuing to work towards the final version of the manifesto.\r\n\r\nIn addition to the draft of the manifesto, which is expected to be finalized in early 2024,\u00a0<strong>Santa M\u00f2nica Arts Centre also raises the possibility of holding a big exhibition<\/strong>\u00a0based on the results of this conversation and the manifesto itself.
