Carlos Monle\u00f3n, artista resident a\u00a0Homesession, presenta el seu projecte \u201cRespiraci\u00f3n Fluvial\u201d el 18 de Gener de 2024.\r\n\r\nRespiraci\u00f3n\u00a0Fuvial<\/em>\u00a0\u00e9s una instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 sonora i immersiva en la qual experimentar diversos cicles de vida que componen el batec dels rius.\r\nUn cor de\u00a0N\u00e1yades\u00a0dona veu a diferents trams fluvials, encarnant esdeveniments metab\u00f2lics - alguns caracter\u00edstics, altres traum\u00e0tics- que sacsegen les vides de diversos cossos d'aigua.\r\nUna pe\u00e7a de so immersiu\u00a0multi-canal\u00a0que fa perceptible una gran quantitat de dades sobre aig\u00fces subterr\u00e0nies i de superf\u00edcie de la conca de l'Ebre i el Segre, interpretats en col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 amb bi\u00f2legs, inform\u00e0tics i m\u00fasics.\r\n\r\nObra produ\u00efda en el context de la Beca Art i Tecnologia promoguda per\u00a0Homesession<\/a>,\u00a0Etop\u00eda<\/a>\u00a0i La Panera<\/a>. \u00a0Tamb\u00e9 s\u2019ha comptat amb l'ajuda de\u00a0Osic<\/a>\u00a0i\u00a0EKWC.<\/p>\r\n \r\n

Carlos Monle\u00f3n<\/a> treballa entre diversos nivells de sensaci\u00f3 i percepci\u00f3 corporal, des del (micro)biol\u00f2gic al performatiu i social. La seva l\u00ednia de recerca principal segueix els mecanismes evolutius que originen en la digesti\u00f3 i cognici\u00f3 i resulten en la distribuci\u00f3 de processos corporals en xarxes\u00a0multi-esp\u00e8cie\u00a0i metabolismes cibern\u00e8tics. De forma predominantment col\u00b7laborativa, ha exposat i participat en projectes a\u00a0Seventeen\u00a0Gallery,\u00a0Autoitalia\u00a0a Londres, CA2M, Matadero Madrid,\u00a0HIAP\u00a0H\u00e8lsinki i la seva pr\u00e0ctica individual a Hangar, Lisboa, la Biennal de Tallinn o la Biennal de Disseny d'Istanbul i de Porto entre altres.<\/p>\r\n

Carlos Monle\u00f3n, artista residente en Homesession, presenta su proyecto \u201cRespiraci\u00f3n Fluvial\u201d el 18 de Enero de 2024.<\/p>\r\n

Respiraci\u00f3n Fuvial es una instalaci\u00f3n sonora e inmersiva en la que experimentar diversos ciclos de vida que componen el pulso de los r\u00edos.<\/p>\r\n

Un coro de N\u00e1yades da voz a distintos tramos fluviales, encarnando eventos metab\u00f3licos - algunos caracter\u00edsticos, otros traum\u00e1ticos- que sacuden las vidas de varios cuerpos de agua.<\/p>\r\n

Una pieza de sonido inmersivo multi-canal que hace perceptible una gran cantidad de datos sobre aguas subterr\u00e1neas y de superficie de la cuenca del Ebro y el Segre, interpretados en colaboraci\u00f3n con bi\u00f3logos, inform\u00e1ticos y m\u00fasicos.<\/p>\r\n

Obra producida en el contexto de la Beca Arte y Tecnolog\u00eda promovida por Homesession<\/a>, Etop\u00eda<\/a> y La Panera<\/a>. Tambi\u00e9n se ha contado con la ayuda de Osic<\/a> y EKWC.<\/p>\r\n \r\n

Carlos Monle\u00f3n<\/a> trabaja entre diversos niveles de sensaci\u00f3n y percepci\u00f3n corporal, desde el (micro)biol\u00f3gico al performativo y social. Su l\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n principal sigue los mecanismos evolutivos que originan en la digesti\u00f3n y cognici\u00f3n y resultan en la distribuci\u00f3n de procesos corporales en redes multi-especie y metabolismos cibern\u00e9ticos. De forma predominantemente colaborativa, ha expuesto y participado en proyectos en Seventeen Gallery, Autoitalia en Londres, CA2M, Matadero Madrid, HIAP Helsinki y su pr\u00e1ctica individual en Hangar, Lisboa, la Bienal de Tallin o la Bienal de Dise\u00f1o de Estambul y de Oporto entre otros.<\/p>\r\n

Carlos Monle\u00f3n, artist in residence at Homesession, presents his project \u201cRespiraci\u00f3n Fluvial\u201d [River Breathing<\/em>] on 18 January 2024.<\/p>\r\n

River Breathing is an immersive sound installation in which to experience the various life cycles that make up the pulse of rivers.<\/p>\r\n

A chorus of Naiads gives voice to different river stretches, embodying metabolic events - some characteristic, some traumatic - that shake the lives of various bodies of water.<\/p>\r\n

A multi-channel immersive sound piece that makes perceptible a wealth of groundwater and surface water data from the Ebro and Segre basin, interpreted in collaboration with biologists, computer scientists and musicians.<\/p>\r\n

The work was produced in the context of the Art and Technology Grant promoted by Homesession<\/a>, Etop\u00eda<\/a> and La Panera<\/a>, with the support of Osic<\/a> and EKWC.<\/p>\r\n \r\n

Carlos Monle\u00f3n<\/a> works between different levels of bodily sensation and perception, from the (micro)biological to the performative and social. His main line of research follows evolutionary mechanisms that originate in digestion and cognition and result in the distribution of bodily processes in multi-species networks and cybernetic metabolisms. Predominantly collaborative, she has exhibited and participated in projects at Seventeen Gallery, Autoitalia in London, CA2M, Matadero Madrid, HIAP Helsinki and her solo practice at Hangar, Lisbon, the Tallinn Biennial or the Istanbul and Porto Design Biennial among others.<\/p>\r\n \r\n
