Prenent com a punt de partida l'est\u00e8tica i les configuracions socials comunit\u00e0ries de l'alberg, aquesta exposici\u00f3 multim\u00e8dia encarregada recentment es desplega per tot l'espai de la galeria responent directament a les particularitats de l'arquitectura. La mostra presenta tres instal\u00b7lacions escult\u00f2riques que habiten tres espais diferents titulats <\/span>Earth (Room)<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Moon (Room)<\/span><\/i> i <\/span>Sun (Room)<\/span><\/i> respectivament. Tot i que les habitacions en la seva totalitat es consideren obres d'art, cadascuna tamb\u00e9 cont\u00e9 peces individuals.<\/span>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nEarth (Room)<\/span><\/i> \u00e9s un espai tranquil i de somni que ocupa l'altell i compta amb mobles personalitzats i una animaci\u00f3 de parada\/arrencada <\/span>Left my heart in [insert city here]<\/span><\/i>, 2024. <\/span>Moon (Room) <\/span><\/i>\u00e9s una habitaci\u00f3 banyada en llum ultravioleta posicionada al centre de l\u2019exposici\u00f3 la qual cont\u00e9 una gamma de llums i escultures modificades i de nova creaci\u00f3, aix\u00ed com un conjunt d'instruments musicals i amplificadors que creen la possibilitat de trencar el silenci mitjan\u00e7ant la seva activaci\u00f3 potencial per part dels visitants. A aquestes dues sales els segueix <\/span>Sun (Room)<\/span><\/i>, la instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 a l'espai m\u00e9s gran de Cordova, l'interior del qual de color beix intens es compon de mobles modificats de tons similars. Aqu\u00ed l'espectador pot beure suc verd acabat de fer i submergir-se a <\/span>Are One, 2024<\/span><\/i>, un v\u00eddeo immersiu de realitat virtual de nova producci\u00f3 realitzat amb imatges de paisatges naturals al llarg de la costa catalana.<\/span>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nTot i que l'exposici\u00f3 pot ser vista per una sola persona, ha estat concebuda per facilitar interaccions socials genu\u00efnes, i de vegades inc\u00f2modes, entre els visitants, molt semblants a les que poden tenir lloc entre viatgers que comparteixen les \u00e0rees comunes d'un alberg. A aquest efecte, l'exposici\u00f3 \u00e9s activada per artistes en diversos punts durant l'exposici\u00f3 les accions col\u00b7loquials mundanes de la qual gaireb\u00e9 passen desapercebudes per\u00f2 en realitat aporten una altra capa de soroll a la cacofonia que \u00e9s l'exposici\u00f3.<\/span>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n*Aquesta exposici\u00f3 s'ha produ\u00eft en col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 amb Phileas, l'Oficina Austr\u00edaca d'Art Contemporani i tamb\u00e9 va comptar amb el suport de BMK\u00d6ES.<\/span>","desc_es":"Dare2bB&b<\/span><\/i> es una presentaci\u00f3n individual de Parastu Gharabaghi. Tomando como punto de partida la est\u00e9tica y las configuraciones sociales comunitarias del albergue, esta exposici\u00f3n multimedia recientemente encargada se despliega por todo el espacio de la galer\u00eda respondiendo directamente a las particularidades de la arquitectura. La muestra presenta tres instalaciones escult\u00f3ricas que habitan tres espacios distintos titulados <\/span>Earth (Room)<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Moon (Room)<\/span><\/i> y <\/span>Sun (Room)<\/span><\/i> respectivamente. Si bien las habitaciones en su totalidad se consideran obras de arte, cada una de ellas tambi\u00e9n contiene piezas individuales.<\/span>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nEarth (Room)<\/span><\/i> es un espacio tranquilo y de ensue\u00f1o que ocupa el altillo y cuenta con muebles personalizados y una animaci\u00f3n de parada\/arranque <\/span>Left my heart in [insert city here]<\/span><\/i>, 2024. <\/span>Moon (Room)<\/span><\/i> es una habitaci\u00f3n ba\u00f1ada por luz ultravioleta ubicada en el centro de la exposici\u00f3n que contiene una gama de luces y esculturas modificadas y de nueva creaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como un conjunto de instrumentos musicales y amplificadores que crean la posibilidad de romper el silencio mediante su potencial activaci\u00f3n por parte de los visitantes. A estas dos salas les sigue <\/span>Sun (Room)<\/span><\/i>, la instalaci\u00f3n en el espacio m\u00e1s grande de Cordova, cuyo interior de color beige intenso se compone de muebles modificados de tonos similares. Aqu\u00ed el espectador puede beber zumo verde reci\u00e9n hecho y sumergirse en <\/span>Are One, 2024<\/span><\/i>, un v\u00eddeo inmersivo de realidad virtual de nueva producci\u00f3n realizado con im\u00e1genes de paisajes naturales a lo largo de la costa catalana.<\/span>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSi bien la exposici\u00f3n puede ser vista por una sola persona, ha sido concebida para facilitar interacciones sociales genuinas, y a veces inc\u00f3modas, entre los visitantes, muy parecidas a las que pueden tener lugar entre viajeros que comparten las \u00e1reas comunes de un albergue. Con este fin, la exposici\u00f3n es activada por artistas en varios puntos durante la exposici\u00f3n cuyas acciones coloquiales mundanas casi pasan desapercibidas pero en realidad aportan otra capa de ruido a la cacofon\u00eda que es la exposici\u00f3n.<\/span>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n*Esta exposici\u00f3n se ha producido en colaboraci\u00f3n con Phileas, la Oficina Austriaca de Arte Contempor\u00e1neo y tambi\u00e9n cont\u00f3 con el apoyo de BMK\u00d6ES.<\/span>","desc_en":"Dare2bB&b <\/span><\/i>is a solo presentation by Parastu Gharabaghi. Taking as its starting point the aesthetics and communal social configurations of the hostel, this newly commissioned multimedia exhibition unfolds across the entirety of the gallery space responding directly to the particularities of the architecture. The show features three sculptural installations inhabiting three distinct spaces titled <\/span>Earth (Room)<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Moon (Room)<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>Sun (Room)<\/span><\/i> respectively. While the rooms themselves are thought of in their entirety as artworks, each of them also contains individual pieces.<\/span>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nEarth (Room) <\/span><\/i>is a quiet dreamy lounge space occupying the mezzanine featuring custom furniture and a stop\/go animation <\/span>Left my heart in [insert city here]<\/span><\/i>, 2024<\/span>. <\/span>Moon (Room) <\/span><\/i>is a UV light bathed room positioned in the center of the exhibition which contains a range of modified and newly created lights and sculptures, as well as a set of musical instruments and amplifiers creating the possibility for a break in the silence by their potential activation by the visitors. These two rooms are followed by <\/span>Sun (Room), <\/span><\/i>the installation in Cordova\u2019s largest space, whose stark beige interior is compounded by similarly toned modified furniture. Here the viewer can drink freshly-made-to-order green juice and immerse themselves in <\/span>Are One, 2024 <\/span><\/i>a newly produced immersive VR video made with footage from natural scenery along the Catalan coast.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhile the exhibition can be viewed by one individual, it has been conceived to facilitate genuine, and at times awkward, social interactions between the visitors, much like those that may take place between travelers sharing the common areas of a hostel.
