Zolamian pren refer\u00e8ncies tant de la historia de l\u2019art oriental com occidental i les recull i recompon segons moment desintegrant aix\u00ed, la noci\u00f3 d\u2019afiliaci\u00f3 i pertinen\u00e7a a una comunitat i fent aflorar un territori imaginari on apareix una iconografia basada en l\u2019intent d\u2019integraci\u00f3 i on s\u2019estableixen relacions \u2013 a vegades discordants- entre l\u2019esser hum\u00e0 i la naturalesa, records d\u2019all\u00f2 individual i col\u00b7lectiu, entre tradici\u00f3, separaci\u00f3 y agitaci\u00f3, entre lloc, temps i cultura.\r\n\r\nSi hagu\u00e9ssim de situar l\u2019obra de Zolamian en un moment temporal, seria el de la vig\u00edlia, entre l\u2019estar adormit i despert, a la frontera amb el somni. Resembling a d\u00e9j\u00e0 vu, her paintings transport us to a dreamlike universe of hybrid creatures, faces, masks and chimerical landscapes that we seem to have known in another life. Zolamian borrows references from both Eastern and Western art history and gathers and recomposes them according to the moment, thus disintegrating the notion of affiliation and belonging to a community, bringing to the surface an imaginary territory where an iconography based on the attempt of integration appears and where relationships \u2013 sometimes discordant \u2013 are established. Between human beings and nature, memories of the individual and the collective, between tradition, separation and upheaval, between site, temporality and culture.\r\n\r\nIf we had to situate Zolamian\u2019s work in a temporal moment, it would be that of wakefulness, between being awake and asleep, on the border with sleep.
