Com ens enregistrem i generem una identitat a trav\u00e9s de tecnologies que (ens) produeixen i reprodueixen socialment i psicol\u00f2gicament tant a internet com fora d\u2019aquest? La imatge en temps real que genera la webcam a Generative Dimension es presenta com una esp\u00e8cie de mirall digital amb el qual el \u201creflex\u201d del que es capta es transforma en dades, \u00e9s a dir, en informaci\u00f3 expressada num\u00e8ricament. Es converteix aix\u00ed susceptible a ser transformada, modificada i, fins i tot, corrompuda. I el proc\u00e9s de fragmentaci\u00f3 (datificaci\u00f3) condueix a una recontextualitzaci\u00f3 d\u2019aquestes dades que es traslladen, es trepitgen i es disposen en un espai digital nou on s\u2019acumula el passat, generant en temps real un present ple d\u2019abstracci\u00f3. Se vuelve as\u00ed susceptible a ser transformada, modificada e incluso, corrompida. Y el proceso de fragmentaci\u00f3n (datificaci\u00f3n) conduce a una recontextualizaci\u00f3n de esos datos que se trasladan, se solapan y se disponen en un espacio digital nuevo donde se acumula el pasado, generando en tiempo real un presente plagado de abstracci\u00f3n. Con esta Generative Dimension, la artista Asia Dib abre, pues, un espacio de posibilidad y juego con la imagen y la identidad, y lo hace a trav\u00e9s de un doble glitch: el de la imagen captada por la webcam en el proceso de digitalizaci\u00f3n de un \u201creflejo\u201d, y el de la temporalidad, con la ruptura y fragmentaci\u00f3n del devenir en \u201ctiempo real\u201d. Are these really tools of representation? How do we observe ourselves? How do we register and generate an identity through technologies that (we) produce and reproduce socially and psychologically both online and offline? The real-time image generated by the webcam in Generative Dimension is presented as a kind of digital mirror in which the \u201creflection\u201d of what is captured is transformed into data, that is, into information expressed numerically. It thus becomes susceptible to being transformed, modified and even corrupted. And the process of fragmentation (datification) leads to a recontextualization of this data, which is transferred, overlapped and arranged in a new digital space where the past is accumulated, generating in real time a present full of abstraction. With this Generative Dimension, the artist Asia Dib opens, then, a space of possibility and play with the image and identity, and does so through a double glitch: that of the image captured by the webcam in the process of digitalization of a \u201creflection\u201d, and that of temporality, with the rupture and fragmentation of becoming in \u201creal time\u201d.
