En Juli Mesa diu: \u201cEnvellim en els espais dels records \/ quan ens mouen d\u2019aquests espais, quina \/ esperan\u00e7a ens queda de recuperar el seny \/ de veure\u2019ns en el mirall i recon\u00e8ixer la nostra hist\u00f2ria.\u201d<\/p>\r\n

Les tres artistes d\u2019aquesta exposici\u00f3 conversen des de tres llocs diferents. Intercanvien postals dels espais que estan construint. La Judit construeix la casa del seu pare, que va comen\u00e7ar a documentar quan per fi es va decidir a entrar-hi. La Marta est\u00e0 cimentant la casa familiar, descobrint les bases fr\u00e0gils del seu equilibri. La Meritxell dissenya un lloc on passar el temps, un lloc que no existeix i que ha d\u2019erigir. Des d\u2019aquestes arquitectures \u00edntimes conversen sobre el descontrol, sobre les plantes que adornen, el vidre i el xoc i sobre alguna cosa que existeix per si mateixa.<\/p>\r\n

Gripau cura\u2019m del reflex <\/em>\u00e9s una proposta curatorial de Ezequiel Soriano<\/strong> emmarcada en la col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 entre Homesession, el Grup d\u2019Innovaci\u00f3 Docent \u201cArt, Professi\u00f3 i Doc\u00e8ncia\u201d de la Universitat de Barcelona i la Sala d\u2019Art Jove. Una triple alian\u00e7a que pret\u00e9n establir ponts de di\u00e0leg entre l\u2019alumnat de la Facultat de Belles Arts i el context art\u00edstic professional.<\/p>\r\n \r\n

Meritxell Ca\u00f1as<\/strong> (Sabadell, 1999) es una artista cuya obra se encuentra en la intersecci\u00f3n entre lo natural y lo digital. Basada en Sabadell, comenz\u00f3 sus estudios de Bellas Artes en la Universidad de Barcelona, donde actualmente cursa el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o del grado. Su pr\u00e1ctica se centra en crear conexiones entre entornos f\u00edsicos y virtuales, poniendo especial atenci\u00f3n en la naturaleza y dando forma a un proyecto interdisciplinario que abarca el modelado 3D, la impresi\u00f3n 3D y la creaci\u00f3n de instalaciones.<\/p>\r\n

Marta Ruaix Vi\u00f1as<\/strong> (Tona, 2002) es estudiante de Bellas Artes en la Universidad de Barcelona donde actualmente est\u00e1 cursando su \u00faltimo a\u00f1o de carrera. Su obra parte del inter\u00e9s por las relaciones afectivas con su entorno m\u00e1s cercano. A trav\u00e9s de lenguajes diversos, jugando con las caracter\u00edsticas mat\u00e9ricas de los elementos que forman las obras y con im\u00e1genes de carga emocional, explora sutilmente un tejido sensible que, al mismo tiempo, puede devenir agresivo.<\/p>\r\n

Judit Luna<\/strong> (El Bruc, 1999) es artista visual. Actualmente, su trabajo se centra en explorar la noci\u00f3n y los l\u00edmites de la intimidad desde una perspectiva personal mediante la experimentaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica. Ha sido artista residente en la Residencia Internacional de Arte de Can Serrat i sus obras han sido expuestas en varios espacios, incluyendo la sala La Puntual. Adem\u00e1s, ha dirigido varios talleres art\u00edsticos. Durante su formaci\u00f3n en el grado de Bellas Artes por la Universidad de Barcelona, ha recibido tres becas por excelencia acad\u00e9mica.<\/p>\r\nProposta en el marc d'Art Nou<\/a>. Juli Mesa dice: \u201cEnvejecemos en los espacios de los recuerdos \/ cuando nos mueven de estos espacios, qu\u00e9 \/ esperanza nos queda de recuperar la cordura \/ de vernos en el espejo y reconocer nuestra historia\u201d.<\/p>\r\n

Las tres artistas de esta exposici\u00f3n conversan desde tres lugares distintos. Intercambian postales de los espacios que est\u00e1n construyendo. Judit construye la casa de su padre, que empez\u00f3 a documentar cuando por fin se decidi\u00f3 a entrar. Marta est\u00e1 cimentando la casa familiar, descubriendo las bases fr\u00e1giles de su equilibrio. Meritxell dise\u00f1a un lugar donde pasar el tiempo, un lugar que no existe y que debe erigir. Desde esas arquitecturas \u00edntimas conversan sobre el descontrol, sobre las plantas que adornan, el vidrio y el choque y sobre algo que existe por s\u00ed mismo.<\/p>\r\n

Juli Mesa says: \u201cWe grow old in the spaces of memories \/ when we are moved from these spaces, what \/ hope is left for us to regain our sanity \/ to see ourselves in the mirror \/ and recognise our history\u201d.<\/p>\r\n

The three artists in this exhibition converse from three different places. They exchange postcards of the spaces they are contructing. Judit builds her father\u2019s house, which she started to document when she finally decided toenter. Marta is cementing the family home, discovering the fragile foundations of its balance. Meritxell designs a place in which to spend time, a place that does not exist and that she must build. From these intimate architectures they talk about the lack of control, about the ornamental plants, glass and the clash and about something that exists for its own sake.<\/p>\r\n

Toad keep me from the mirror <\/em>is a curatorial proposal by Ezequiel Soriano<\/strong> that arises within the framework of the collaboration between Homesession, Grup d\u2019Innovaci\u00f3n Docent \u201cArt, Professi\u00f3 i Doc\u00e8ncia\u201d <\/em>of the University of Barcelona and Sala d\u2019Art Jove<\/em>. A triple alliance that aims to establish dialogue between the students of the Faculty of Fine Arts and the professional artistic context.<\/p>\r\n \r\n

Meritxell Ca\u00f1as<\/strong> (Sabadell, 1999) is an artist whose work is at the intersection between the natural and the digital. Based in Sabadell, she began her studies in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, where she is currently completing the last year of her degree. Her practice focuses on creating connections between physical and virtual environments, paying special attention to nature and shaping an interdisciplinary project that encompasses 3D modeling, 3D printing and the creation of installations.<\/p>\r\n

Marta Ruaix Vi\u00f1as<\/strong> (Tona, 2002) is a Fine Arts student at the University of Barcelona where she is currently completing her final year. Her work is based on the interest in the affective relationships with those closest to her. Navigating through a diverse array of languages, she delicately explores the material qualities of her pieces while also delving into the emotional depths of the images she works with. This subtle exploration traverses a sensitive web that could become aggressive.<\/p>\r\n

Judit Luna<\/strong> (El Bruc, 1999) is a visual artist. Currently, her work focuses on exploring the notion and limits of intimacy from a personal perspective through artistic experimentation. She has been a resident artist at Can Serrat International Art Residency and her works have been exhibited in various spaces, including La Puntual space. In addition, she has directed several artistic workshops. During her training in the Fine Arts degree at the University of Barcelona, she has received three scholarships for academic excellence.<\/p>\r\nExhibition in the frame of Art Nou.
