Por un lado, hubo un resurgimiento de la pintura, la escultura y la continuidad del arte conceptual. Hubieron brillantes iniciativas de importaci\u00f3n de artistas internacionales, antes de la creaci\u00f3n dels grandes museos y equipamientos culturales que vieron la luz en los 90 como el CCCB, el MACBA o el MNAC. Por otro lado, Barcelona tambi\u00e9n fue una ciudad entregada a una transgresi\u00f3n y muy vinculada a la cultura underground.
