Nietzsche<\/span>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\n<span lang=\"CA\">Des de les seves primeres exposicions, <b>Pep Duran Esteva<\/b> sempre ha conreat el collage com una eina per interpretar el m\u00f3n. \u00c9s un dels artistes que m\u00e9s ha insistit en el principi del collage: construir a partir de fragments. L<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"CA\">artista ent\u00e9n el collage com si fos una partitura esc\u00e8nica. Tota mena de restes de fotografies, papers, cartons, fustes, han estat els seus materials recurrents. Els seus treballs tenen una acusada i espec\u00edfica teatralitat on les imatges resultants s\u00f3n com un gran calidoscopi o palimpsest, que ell articula en funci\u00f3 de l<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"CA\">espai.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\n<span lang=\"CA\">En aquesta nova proposta que presentem, l<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"CA\">artista parteix d<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"CA\">algunes peces de 2004-2006 on emprava petits fragments de fotografies del seu arxiu tot construint c\u00famuls d<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"CA\">imatges i paisatges irreals, que avui constitueix aquest cont\u00ednuum que es desplega per l<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"CA\">espai expositiu: una acumulaci\u00f3 gr\u00e0fica, una novel\u00b7la sense paraules, un gran collage. \u201cC\u00famul\u201d s\u00f3n peces que sota el nom d\u2019\u201cEndurance\u201d van ser exposades a la galeria Alejandro Sales (2006) a Barcelona i \u00e9s un pretext tamb\u00e9 per introduir aquests collages sobre antics decorats de paper \u201cPapers d<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"CA\">Ombra\u201d exhibits recentment al museu Can Framis\/Fundaci\u00f3 Vila Casas de Barcelona (2024), insistint en el concepte de munt, de fragmentaci\u00f3, d<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"CA\">acumulaci\u00f3 d<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"CA\">imatges. I d<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"CA\">alguna manera vol connectar amb l<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"CA\">exposici\u00f3 que va fer l<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"CA\">artista a Vic el 1996 intitulada \u201cTeatres Buits\u201d.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\n<span lang=\"CA\">Els treballs que avui veiem s\u00f3n una cr\u00f2nica, un fris, un dietari que l<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"CA\">artista ha anat configurant ininterrompudament\u2026 seq\u00fc\u00e8ncies mudes on els personatges i les seves ombres transiten com pres\u00e8ncies rescatades de pel\u00b7l\u00edcules antigues.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\n<span lang=\"CA\">A \u201cC\u00famul\u201d, a part de mostrar tot el repertori de foto-collages, Pep Duran Esteva ent\u00e9n la sala d<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"CA\">exposicions com un escenari on l<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"CA\">espectador va trobant petites escenes, di\u00e0legs o mon\u00f2legs oberts.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\n<span lang=\"CA\">En paral\u00b7lel a l<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"CA\">exposici\u00f3 d\u2019ACVIC l<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"CA\">artista proposa a l<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"CA\">espai de l<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"CA\">Albergueria una instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 temporal de tres peces escult\u00f2riques, tres taules varades, dipositades, que conviden a la reflexi\u00f3 tot connectant amb la mem\u00f2ria del lloc.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<\/div>","desc_es":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Del nombre de \u201cEndurance\u201d fueron expuestas a la galer\u00eda Alejandro Sales (2006) \u00a0en Barcelona y es un pretexto tambi\u00e9n para introducir estos collages sobre antiguos decorados de papel \u201cPapers d\u2019Ombra\u201d exhibidos recientemente al museo Can Framis\/Fundaci\u00f3 Vila Casas de Barcelona (2024), insistiendo en el concepto de mont\u00f3n, de fragmentaci\u00f3n, de acumulaci\u00f3n de im\u00e1genes. He is prominent among those artists who insisted upon the essence of collage: building from fragments. The artist treats collage as if it were a stage score. All kinds of scraps, photographs, papers, cardboards, wood, have been his recurring materials. His works have a pronounced and specific theatricality in which the resulting images are like a large kaleidoscope or palimpsest, which he assembles according to the space.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this new exhibition, the artist starts with some artworks from 2004-2006 in which he used small fragments of photographs from his archive while building clusters of images and unreal landscapes, which today constitutes this continuum that unfolds through the exhibition space; a graphic accumulation, a wordless novel, a large collage. C\u00famul, comprises artworks which were exhibited between 2004-2006 under the name of Endurance at the Alejandro Sales (2006) \u00a0gallery in Barcelona. Also creating a pretext for introducing collages made from old paper theatre sets, Papers d\u2019Ombra, recently exhibited at the Museu Can Framis\/Fundaci\u00f3 Vila Casas in Barcelona ( 2024), \u00a0\u200b\u200binsisting on the concept of a pile, of a fragmentation, of an accumulation of images.
