Els nostres dispositius digitals estan dissenyats per a emfatitzar-ho. Les carpetes dels port\u00e0tils s\u2019etiqueten com \u00abEl meu ordinador\u00bb, i fins i tot els nostres tel\u00e8fons m\u00f2bils -sovint anomenats \u00abiPhone\u00bb, per a emfatitzar la primera persona (\u201cI\u201d, \u201cjo\u201d en angl\u00e8s)- estan dissenyats m\u00e9s per a consumir continguts creats per algorismes, que no pas per a fomentar una comunicaci\u00f3 significativa.\u00a0<em>Dot-to-Dot<\/em>\u00a0s\u2019oposa a aquest creixent a\u00efllament.\r\nLes set artistes d\u2019aquesta exposici\u00f3 han decidit col\u00b7laborar en un projecte que posa l\u2019accent en la connexi\u00f3 i la interdepend\u00e8ncia. El nucli del projecte \u00e9s un v\u00eddeo que porta el mateix t\u00edtol, en el qual cada artista aporta una s\u00e8rie d\u2019imatges en moviment captades amb una c\u00e0mera, que despr\u00e9s es passa a la seg\u00fcent participant. La c\u00e0mera serveix com a conducte de contacte, vinculant a l\u2019artista que filma amb el seu subjecte, alhora que connecta a les col\u00b7laboradores anteriors i posteriors en una cadena d\u2019esdeveniments. Aquesta col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 celebra un enfocament col\u00b7lectiu sense comprometre la individualitat de cada artista. A trav\u00e9s de les interaccions captades en el v\u00eddeo, l\u2019obra crea un espai per a l\u2019autoexpressi\u00f3 i l\u2019exploraci\u00f3, en el qual l\u2019est\u00e8tica dels gestos ordinaris difumina els l\u00edmits entre l\u2019art i la vida.<em>\u00a0Dot-to-Dot\u00a0<\/em>\u00e9s un esfor\u00e7 col\u00b7lectiu en el qual el proc\u00e9s art\u00edstic prima sobre el producte final. En aquest context, l\u2019obra acabada es converteix en un lloc d\u2019interacci\u00f3 entre les artistes i el p\u00fablic, proporcionant una plataforma per a compartir experi\u00e8ncies creatives. Nuestros dispositivos digitales est\u00e1n dise\u00f1ados para enfatizarlo. Las carpetas de los port\u00e1tiles se etiquetan como \u00abMi ordenador\u00bb, e incluso nuestros tel\u00e9fonos m\u00f3viles -a menudo apodados \u00abiPhone\u00bb, para enfatizar la primera persona (\u201cI\u201d, \u201cyo\u201d en ingl\u00e9s)- est\u00e1n dise\u00f1ados m\u00e1s para consumir contenidos creados por algoritmos que para fomentar una comunicaci\u00f3n significativa. <em>Dot-to-Dot<\/em> se opone a este creciente aislamiento.\r\n\r\nLas siete artistas de esta exposici\u00f3n han decidido colaborar en un proyecto que hace hincapi\u00e9 en la conexi\u00f3n y la interdependencia. El n\u00facleo del proyecto es un v\u00eddeo que lleva el mismo t\u00edtulo, en el que cada artista aporta una serie de im\u00e1genes en movimiento captadas con una c\u00e1mara, que luego se pasa al siguiente participante. La c\u00e1mara sirve como conducto de contacto, vinculando a la artista que filma con su sujeto, a la vez que conecta a las colaboradoras anteriores y posteriores en una cadena de acontecimientos. Esta colaboraci\u00f3n celebra un enfoque colectivo sin comprometer la individualidad de cada artista. A trav\u00e9s de las interacciones captadas en el v\u00eddeo, la obra crea un espacio para la autoexpresi\u00f3n y la exploraci\u00f3n, en el que la est\u00e9tica de los gestos ordinarios difumina los l\u00edmites entre el arte y la vida. <em>Dot-to-Dot<\/em> es un esfuerzo colectivo en el que el proceso art\u00edstico prima sobre el producto final. Our digital devices are tailored to emphasise this. Laptop folders are labeled \u201c<em>My Computer<\/em>,\u201d and even our cell phones\u2014often dubbed \u201c<em>iPhone<\/em>\u201d to emphasise the self\u2014are designed more for consuming algorithm-curated content than for nurturing meaningful communication.\u00a0<em>Dot-to-Dot<\/em>\u00a0stands in opposition to this growing isolation. The seven artists in this exhibition have chosen to collaborate on a project that emphasises connection and interdependence. At the heart of the project is a video bearing the same title, in which each artist contributes a series of moving images captured with a camera, which is then passed on to the next participant. The camera serves as a conduit of contact, linking the artist filming to their subject, while simultaneously connecting the previous and subsequent contributors in a chain of events. This collaboration celebrates a collective approach without compromising each artist\u2019s individuality. Through the interactions captured in the video, the piece creates a space for self-expression and exploration, where the aesthetics of ordinary gestures blur the lines between art and life.\u00a0<em>Dot-to-Dot<\/em>\u00a0is a collective endeavour, where the artistic process takes precedence over the final product. In this context, the finished work becomes a site for interaction between the artists and the audience, providing a platform for shared creative experience.
