Hist\u00f2ricament, tamb\u00e9 ha sigut una eina per q\u00fcestionar l\u2019statu quo: des de les com\u00e8dies de Moli\u00e8re fins a les s\u00e0tires contempor\u00e0nies de programes televisius com el \u201c<em>Pol\u00f2nia<\/em>\u201d. L\u2019humor, doncs, ens pot ajudar a comprendre les nostres societats i assenyalar els l\u00edmits dels sistemes i les seves costures. Per\u00f2, qu\u00e8 ens fa riure i per qu\u00e8? Quins s\u00f3n els punts de contacte entre art i humor?\r\n\r\nPartint de la q\u00fcesti\u00f3 de qu\u00e8 entenem per humor i explorant les seves derivades, Joan Fontcuberta i \u00c0lex Mesa aprofundiran en el paper cr\u00edtic, transgressor i subvertiu de l\u2019humor aix\u00ed com la seva relaci\u00f3 amb la creaci\u00f3 art\u00edstica contempor\u00e0nia.\r\n\r\nJoan Fontcuberta (Barcelona, 1955) ha desenvolupat una activitat plural al m\u00f3n de la fotografia com a creador, docent, cr\u00edtic, comissari d'exposicions i historiador. Ha publicat diversos llibres i assajos sobre fotografia, com<em>\u00a0El beso de Judas. Fotograf\u00eda y verdad<\/em>\u00a0(1997),\u00a0<em>La c\u00e1mara de Pandora<\/em>\u00a0(2010),\u00a0<em>La furia de las im\u00e1genes<\/em>\u00a0(2016) o\u00a0<em>Desbordar el espejo<\/em>\u00a0(2024). El seu treball de creaci\u00f3 s'ocupa dels conflictes entre natura, tecnologia, fotografia i veritat, i ha estat objecte de nombroses publicacions monogr\u00e0fiques i mostres personals en institucions de tot el m\u00f3n com el MoMA de Nova York, l'Art Institute de Chicago, l'IVAM de Val\u00e8ncia, el FOAM de Amsterdam, la MEP de Par\u00eds o el Science Museum de Londres. La seva obra ha estat adquirida per nombroses col\u00b7leccions p\u00fabliques. Entre d\u2019altres el 1998 va rebre el Premi Nacional de Fotografia, el 2013 el Premi Hasselblad i el 2022 el t\u00edtol de Doctor Honoris Causa per la Universitat de Par\u00eds VIII.\r\n\r\n\u00c0lex Mesa \u00e9s doctor Cum laude en filosofia per la UAB. Historically, it has also been a tool to question the status quo: from the comedies of Moli\u00e8re to contemporary satires in television programs like <em data-start=\"2524\" data-end=\"2533\">Pol\u00f2nia<\/em>. Humor, therefore, can help us understand our societies and point out the limits of systems and their seams. But what makes us laugh and why? What are the points of contact between art and humor?<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2731\" data-end=\"2990\">Starting from the question of what we understand by humor and exploring its derivatives, Joan Fontcuberta and \u00c0lex Mesa will delve into the critical, transgressive, and subversive role of humor, as well as its relationship with contemporary artistic creation.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2992\" data-end=\"3959\">Joan Fontcuberta (Barcelona, 1955) has developed a plural activity in the world of photography as a creator, teacher, critic, exhibition curator, and historian. He has published several books and essays on photography, such as <em data-start=\"3219\" data-end=\"3258\">El beso de Judas. Fotograf\u00eda y verdad<\/em> (1997), <em data-start=\"3267\" data-end=\"3289\">La c\u00e1mara de Pandora<\/em> (2010), <em data-start=\"3298\" data-end=\"3324\">La furia de las im\u00e1genes<\/em> (2016), or <em data-start=\"3336\" data-end=\"3357\">Desbordar el espejo<\/em> (2024). His creative work deals with conflicts between nature, technology, photography, and truth, and has been the subject of numerous monographic publications and solo exhibitions in institutions around the world, such as MoMA in New York, the Art Institute of Chicago, the IVAM in Valencia, FOAM in Amsterdam, MEP in Paris, or the Science Museum in London. His work has been acquired by numerous public collections. Among other awards, he received the National Photography Award in 1998, the Hasselblad Award in 2013, and the title of Doctor Honoris Causa from the University of Paris VIII in 2022.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"3961\" data-end=\"4456\">\u00c0lex Mesa holds a Cum Laude doctorate in philosophy from the UAB. He is currently a professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Barcelona and collaborates occasionally with different publishers and cultural centers organizing courses and workshops.
