No nom\u00e9s pels materials utilitzats\u2014crin de cavall i plomes d\u2019ocells\u2014que doten les seves obres de formes incertes de l\u2019animalitat, sin\u00f3 tamb\u00e9 per la reutilitzaci\u00f3 d\u2019elements provinents del m\u00f3n de la construcci\u00f3.\r\n\r\nAgustina mou les coses del seu lloc d\u2019origen, realitza un despla\u00e7ament que li permet produir nous ensamblatges maqu\u00ednico-animals: ni cavalls ni ocells, uns i altres al mateix temps. All welcome, join us at Tangent Projects gallery on April 23rd from 19h<\/p>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For several years now, Agustina Fioretti has been creating strange objects and images that resist recognition and taxonomic classification. This is not only due to the materials she uses\u2014horsehair and bird feathers\u2014which imbue her works with ambiguous traces of animality, but also because of her reuse of elements from the world of construction.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Agustina displaces things from their original context, generating a shift that allows her to produce new machinic-animal assemblages: neither horses nor birds, yet both at once, the cyborg emerges from the fusion of the technical and the animal, from the life of objects.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What futures might arise from nests built with horsehair?
