Carla Torres EN RESiD\u00c8NCiA at the School L\u2019Alzina","desc_ca":"Com a mare d\u2019una nena de 12 anys i docent a l\u2019ESAD E\u00f2lia, estic cada dia en contacte amb joves en plena adolesc\u00e8ncia, i he pogut constatar una tend\u00e8ncia a l\u2019al\u00e7a pel que fa a l\u2019aparici\u00f3 de problemes de salut mental de manera cada vegada m\u00e9s preco\u00e7.\u00a0 Pand\u00e8mies a banda, potser cal preguntar-se qu\u00e8 estem fent com a societat per tal que els nostres joves semblin cada vegada m\u00e9s vulnerables a patir un ampli ventall de trastorns mentals, alguns d\u2019ells molt preocupants.\r\n\r\nMalgrat que conceptes com la neurodiverg\u00e8ncia estan cada vegada m\u00e9s normalitzats, i que tenim nens hiperdiagnosticats i terapeutitzats, el cert \u00e9s que per alguna cosa estan tan pressionats. L\u2019espiral de capitalisme desfermat ens ha dut a allunyar-nos de les nostres llars en pro d\u2019una vida laboral m\u00e9s productiva. Aix\u00f2, sumat a l\u2019aparici\u00f3 de l\u2019eficient eina de distracci\u00f3 massiva que s\u00f3n els \u201csmartphones\u201d i les xarxes socials, han generat un caldo de cultiu que ara costa d\u2019empassar. Per\u00f2 potser som a temps de canviar algunes de les derives que ens han dut on som per tal de corregir el rumb de cara a les properes generacions. Amb la mediaci\u00f3 del Teatre Lliure.<\/em>","desc_es":"Como madre de una ni\u00f1a de 12 a\u00f1os y docente en ESAD E\u00f2lia, estoy cada d\u00eda en contacto con j\u00f3venes en plena adolescencia y he podido constatar una tendencia al alza en cuanto a la aparici\u00f3n de problemas de salud mental cada vez m\u00e1s precoz. \u00a0Pandemias aparte, quiz\u00e1s cabe preguntarse qu\u00e9 estamos haciendo como sociedad para que nuestros j\u00f3venes parezcan cada vez m\u00e1s vulnerables a sufrir un amplio abanico de trastornos mentales, algunos de ellos muy preocupantes.\r\n\r\nAunque conceptos como la neurodivergencia est\u00e1n cada vez m\u00e1s normalizados, y que tenemos ni\u00f1os hiperdiagnosticados y terapeutizados, lo cierto es que por algo est\u00e1n tan presionados. La espiral de capitalismo desatado nos ha llevado a alejarnos de nuestros hogares en pro de una vida laboral m\u00e1s productiva. Eso, sumado a la aparici\u00f3n de la eficiente herramienta de distracci\u00f3n masiva que son los <em>smartphones <\/em>y las redes sociales, ha generado un caldo de cultivo que ahora cuesta tragar. Pero quiz\u00e1s estamos a tiempo de cambiar algunas de las derivas que nos han llevado a donde estamos para corregir el rumbo de cara a las pr\u00f3ximas generaciones. Con la mediaci\u00f3n del Teatre Lliure.<\/em>","desc_en":"As a mother of a 12-year-old girl and a teacher at the ESAD E\u00f2lia, I come into contact with young people in their teens every day, and I have noticed a rising trend in the appearance of mental health problems at an increasingly early age. \u00a0Pandemics aside, it may be worth asking what we are doing as a society to make our young people seem increasingly vulnerable to a wide range of mental disorders, some of them very worrying.\r\n\r\nAlthough concepts such as neurodivergence are becoming increasingly normalised, and we have hyper-diagnosed and over-diagnosed and over-treated children, the fact is that they are under such pressure for a reason. The spiral of unleashed capitalism has driven us away from our homes in favour of a more productive working life. This, coupled with the emergence of the efficient tool of mass distraction that is smartphones and social media, has created a breeding ground that is now hard to swallow. However, we may still be in time to change some of the drifts that have led us to where we are now, to correct the course for the next generations.
