A partir d\u2019aquests documents, Brodsky realitza una s\u00e8rie d\u2019apropiacions i insercions que conviden a reflexionar sobre el violent passat colonial. Com en els seus treballs anteriors, l\u2019artista amplia les imatges i hi interv\u00e9 a m\u00e0 amb ceres i aquarel\u00b7la, i hi afegeix frases curtes que donen veu a les v\u00edctimes o testimonis. Tanmateix, en aquesta s\u00e8rie en concret, la veu i la perspectiva s\u00f3n les dels colonitzadors: \u201cVam esclavitzar els vostres fills.\u201d Hi ha una sensaci\u00f3 de malestar davant d\u2019imatges que mostren la viol\u00e8ncia de manera expl\u00edcita. Brodsky no nom\u00e9s presenta les obres com a documents visuals, sin\u00f3 que les converteix en vehicles de mem\u00f2ria. A partir de estos documentos, Brodsky realiza una serie de apropiaciones e inserciones que invitan a reflexionar sobre el violento pasado colonial. Como en sus trabajos anteriores, el artista ampl\u00eda las im\u00e1genes e interviene a mano con cray\u00f3n y acuarela, adem\u00e1s de a\u00f1adir frases cortas que dan voz a las v\u00edctimas o testigos. Aunque espec\u00edficamente en est\u00e1 serie, la voz y la perspectiva son las de los colonizadores: \u201cEsclavizamos a vuestros hijos\u201d. Hay un sentido de malestar frente a las im\u00e1genes que muestran la violencia de manera expl\u00edcita. Brodsky no solo presenta las obras como documentos visuales, sino que las convierte en veh\u00edculos de memoria. From these documents, Brodsky creates a series of appropriations and insertions that invite reflection on the violent colonial past. As in his previous works, the artist enlarges the images and intervenes by hand with crayon and watercolor, also adding short phrases that give voice to victims or witnesses. However, in this particular series, the voice and perspective are those of the colonizers: \u201cWe enslaved your children.\u201d There is a sense of discomfort in the face of images that depict violence explicitly. Brodsky not only presents the works as visual documents but turns them into vehicles of memory.
