A trav\u00e9s d\u2019una s\u00e8rie de sons guturals, esbufecs, toses, taral\u00b7larejos i xiulades, la parella organitza els temes centrals del text a trav\u00e9s de diverses parts dels seus nassos, boques, laringes, tr\u00e0quees i pulmons, cada \u00f2rgan encarnant i introduint una s\u00e8rie de registres afectius i textuals.\r\n\r\nEn una recent correspond\u00e8ncia que es va prolongar durant diversos mesos, la parella va intercanviar reflexions, an\u00e8cdotes quotidianes, lectures, poemes, gravacions de can\u00e7ons i recitacions. La performance actua com un treball actiu de selecci\u00f3, record, recreaci\u00f3, reestructuraci\u00f3, reavaluaci\u00f3 i reacoblament d\u2019elements de la correspond\u00e8ncia, com una manera de bregar amb un moment hist\u00f2ric transcendental caracteritzat per una escalada en el constant brunzit de la viol\u00e8ncia genocida que ha estructurat les respectives traject\u00f2ries dels artistes.\r\n\r\nConvidant peri\u00f2dicament als espectadors a unir-se a l\u2019experi\u00e8ncia sonora, la parella intenta crear un espai de sincronia i acci\u00f3, on el p\u00fablic es converteix en una cambra de resson\u00e0ncia recorreguda per la vibraci\u00f3 i transformada en un cor dispar.\r\n\r\n \r\n

No one will manage to swallow it. Don\u2019t worry.\u201d<\/em>\r\n\r\n\u2013 From Wadih Sanbar\u2019s last words to his son, Palestinian historian and poet Elias Sanbar.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nHaig Aivazian and Noor Abed enact a score composed of sound, text, and movement. Through a series of guttural sounds, gasps, coughs, hums, hisses the pair organise the central themes of the text through various parts of their noses, mouths, larynxes, tracheae and lungs, each organ embodying and introducing a series of affective and textual registers.\r\n\r\nIn a recent correspondence spanning several months, the pair exchanged reflections, quotidian anecdotes, readings, poems, recordings of songs and recitations. The performance acts as an active labour of selecting, remembering, re-enacting, restructuring, reassessing, and reassembling elements from the correspondence, as a way to grapple with a heightened historical moment characterised by a peak in the constant hum of genocidal violence that has structured the artists\u2019 respective trajectories.\r\n\r\nPeriodically prompting spectators to join in the sonic experience, the pair attempt to create a space of synchrony and action, where the audience becomes a resonance chamber traveled by vibration and transformed into a disparate choir.\r\n\r\n \r\n

bio<\/strong><\/h4>\r\nNoor Abed <\/strong>is a Palestinian artist who works at the intersection of performance and film, combining forms of the \u2018staged\u2019 and the \u2018documentary\u2019. Her practice examines notions of social choreographies and collective formations, searching through the connection between the notion of \u2018synchrony\u2019 and social action.\r\n\r\nHaig Aivazian<\/strong>\u2019s practice grapples with the metamorphic nature of 3 technologies: artificial light, computation and law.
