El tema de la 23a edici\u00f3 del Loop Festival, Miratges Mirages<\/em>, uneix els seus m\u00faltiples projectes per destacar com les imatges en moviment creen visions i trobades especials. Un miratge sovint \u00e9s descrit com quelcom negatiu: una il\u00b7lusi\u00f3, una perspectiva perillosa, una for\u00e7a d\u2019atracci\u00f3 poderosa. Tot i aix\u00ed, un miratge \u00e9s tamb\u00e9 un fenomen art\u00edstic: pel\u00b7l\u00edcules i llibres, tant per a infants com per a adults, el representen sovint com una cosa m\u00e0gica que apareix en moments de necessitat. La 23a edici\u00f3 del Loop Festival pensa el miratge com a imatges d\u2019all\u00f2 desitjat, que apareixen per a nosaltres, encara que sigui fuga\u00e7ment, per aportar alegria, energia, confian\u00e7a i entusiasme.<\/p>\r\n

Exactament com les obres d\u2019imatge en moviment que es presenten durant el festival. Miratges Mirages<\/em> celebra la capacitat de la ment humana de desitjar, crear i projectar imatges. Explorant la relaci\u00f3 entre cinema, imaginaci\u00f3 i percepci\u00f3, entre cossos, paisatges i art, Miratges Mirages<\/em> portar\u00e0 a Barcelona una selecci\u00f3 comissariada de pel\u00b7l\u00edcules, v\u00eddeos i instal\u00b7lacions, presentades en col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 amb les institucions art\u00edstiques i culturals de la ciutat. Atractives, fascinants, diverses i accessibles, les obres presentades testifiquen la capacitat \u00fanica del cinema d\u2019artistes de representar i dialogar amb el nostre temps, en tota la seva complexitat i fascinaci\u00f3. Un miratge \u00e9s una visi\u00f3 d\u2019esperan\u00e7a i regeneraci\u00f3 quan m\u00e9s es necessita. \u00c9s una projecci\u00f3, mig il\u00b7lusi\u00f3 i mig realitat, una imatge desitjada i atractiva, un oasi. Un miratge \u00e9s una aparici\u00f3, una al\u00b7lucinaci\u00f3, una quimera, una fantasmagoria: una figura de la ment inscrita a la retina i projectada sobre un paisatge. Originat a principis del segle XIX, quan la relaci\u00f3 triangular entre el descobriment de l\u2019inconscient, la trobada amb el m\u00f3n ex\u00f2tic i l\u2019experimentaci\u00f3 amb sistemes de reproducci\u00f3 mec\u00e0nica de la realitat eren al seu punt \u00e0lgid, el miratge va arribar a definir un horitz\u00f3 de possibilitats transm\u00e8s per una manifestaci\u00f3 \u00f2ptica.<\/p>\r\n

Els miratges provenen de mirare<\/em> en llat\u00ed, que significa \u2018mirar\u2019, i que va evolucionar cap a mirar-se<\/em>, mirar-se un mateix, reflectir-se. Situat entre la imatge d\u2019un mateix i la projecci\u00f3 del jo en el m\u00f3n, entre la imatge que existeix i la que \u00e9s creada per la imaginaci\u00f3, el miratge \u00e9s una entitat cinematogr\u00e0fica per excel\u00b7l\u00e8ncia.<\/p>\r\n

Els artistes han utilitzat el cinema i el v\u00eddeo per crear visions que abans no existien i imatges fuga\u00e7os que, com un miratge, apareixen i desapareixen davant dels nostres ulls. Originated in the early 19th century, when the triangular relationship between the discovery of the unconscious, the encounter with the exotic world and the experimentation with systems of mechanical reproduction of the real were at their peak, the mirage came to define a horizon of possibilities conveyed by an optical manifestation.\r\n\r\nMirages originate from mirare <\/i>in Latin, meaning to \u2018look at\u2019, which declinated into mirar-se<\/i>, to look at oneself, to be reflected. Standing across the image of oneself and the projection of the self into the world, the image that exists and the image that is created by the imagination, the mirage is a quintessential cinematic entity.\r\n\r\nArtists have been using film and video to create visions that did not exist before and fleeting images that, like a mirage, appear and disappear in front of our eyes.
