A trav\u00e9s d'una observaci\u00f3 minuciosa del treball d'arxivers, arque\u00f2legs, antrop\u00f2legs, naturalistes i altres professionals, les seves pel\u00b7l\u00edcules exploren la conservaci\u00f3 museol\u00f2gica i mediambiental com a proc\u00e9s creatiu. La hist\u00f2ria natural i la ci\u00e8ncia s\u00f3n temes recurrents, igual que l'\u00fas de formats anal\u00f2gics, concretament la pel\u00b7l\u00edcula de 16 mm. La materialitat de la pel\u00b7l\u00edcula de cel\u00b7luloide i els freq\u00fcents primers plans de mans emfatitzen el t\u00e0ctil, proposant una comparaci\u00f3 entre el treball de la cineasta i el dels investigadors amb els quals Rinland col\u00b7labora sovint.\r\n\r\nJessica Sarah Rinland ha rebut nombrosos premis, entre ells un Esment Especial en el Festival de Cinema de Locarno per Those That, at a Distance, Resemble Another (2019), i ha estat objecte de retrospectives en Anthology Film Archives, Doc\u2019s Kingdom, Curtocircuito, LSFF i Flaherty Film Seminar.\r\n\r\n<strong>Carlos V\u00e1squez M\u00e9ndez <\/strong>\u00e9s artista i investigador. Els mitjans que utilitza s\u00f3n el cinema i la fotografia des d'una perspectiva documental i experimental establint constants correspond\u00e8ncies entre la pr\u00e0ctica art\u00edstica, les ci\u00e8ncies socials, l'anal\u00f2gic i el digital.
