En aquest espai, funcionalitat i simbolisme conviuen sense jerarquies: el quotidi\u00e0 pot esdevenir ritual, i el gest m\u00e9s simple pot obrir una dimensi\u00f3 profunda i ancestral.\r\n\r\nLa pe\u00e7a pren la forma d\u2019un acte de divinaci\u00f3 situat en un context urb\u00e0 contemporani. En lloc de la percussi\u00f3, utilitzem sorra i dispositius electr\u00f2nics que generen freq\u00fc\u00e8ncies capaces de posar-la en moviment. Sobre aquesta superf\u00edcie viva dibuixem, evoquem i deixem apar\u00e8ixer formes ef\u00edmeres, com si la mat\u00e8ria mateixa intent\u00e9s parlar.\r\n\r\nLa sorra \u00e9s vibraci\u00f3, energia latent, moviment.\r\n\r\nEl tamboret \u00e9s pes, centre i estabilitat.\r\n\r\nAl centre de l\u2019acci\u00f3 hi ha el\u00a0<em>nkoh<\/em>, un tamboret de l\u2019\u00e8tnia bamileke. M\u2019hi assec cobert per una tela ampla que transforma el cos en una figura gaireb\u00e9 piramidal. El tamboret esdev\u00e9 alhora seient, tambor, tron i mem\u00f2ria: la cadira amagada, el tron de l\u2019avi, la cadira davant la porta que espera sense esperar ning\u00fa, la pres\u00e8ncia des de la qual el cos ressona.\r\n\r\nDues c\u00e0meres filmen les taules de dibuix i projecten les imatges sobre el mur. Les mans treballant la sorra es converteixen, aix\u00ed, en una forma de divinaci\u00f3 digital: rastres inestables, gestos incerts, aparicions i desaparicions cont\u00ednues.\r\n\r\nLa performance explora, tamb\u00e9, altres formes de sostenir i transportar el cos. Portar alg\u00fa a l\u2019esquena com un infant, improvisar seients amb sacs o estructures prec\u00e0ries, traslladar un anci\u00e0 entre dos pals d\u2019un poble a un altre. Aqu\u00ed, la cadira apareix no nom\u00e9s com un objecte funcional, sin\u00f3 com una extensi\u00f3 del cos, una eina de superviv\u00e8ncia, de cura i de transmissi\u00f3.\r\n\r\nUna cadira visible.\r\n\r\nUna altra d\u2019invisible.\r\n\r\nLa cadira de vida.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>Xumo Nunjo.<\/strong>\u00a0Artista independent, m\u00fasic i productor camerun\u00e8s establert a Barcelona. El seus avis el van iniciar en les arts esc\u00e8niques tradicionals bamileke, fet que ha marcat profundament la seva sensibilitat art\u00edstica i el seu recorregut creatiu. Els seus interessos abracen l\u2019arquitectura, la hist\u00f2ria de l\u2019art, l\u2019antropologia, el teatre i les arts visuals, disciplines que nodreixen una obra transversal i original. Al llarg de la seva traject\u00f2ria, ha participat en la creaci\u00f3 i producci\u00f3 d\u2019espectacles, discos, performances, projectes de\u00a0<em>street art<\/em>\u00a0i diverses campanyes publicit\u00e0ries. Sobre esta superficie viva dibujamos, evocamos y dejamos aflorar formas ef\u00edmeras, como si la propia materia intentase hablar.\r\n\r\nLa sorra es vibraci\u00f3n, energ\u00eda latente, movimiento.\r\n\r\nEl taburete es peso, centro y estabilidad.\r\n\r\nEn el centro de la acci\u00f3n est\u00e1 el\u00a0<em>nkoh<\/em>, un taburete de la etnia bamileke. Me siento sobre \u00e9l cubierto por una tela amplia que transforma el cuerpo en una figura casi piramidal. El taburete se convierte a la vez en asiento, tambor, trono y memoria: la silla escondida, el trono del abuelo, la silla frente a la puerta que espera sin esperar a nadie, la presencia desde la que el cuerpo resuena.\r\n\r\nDos c\u00e1maras filman las mesas de dibujo y proyectan las im\u00e1genes sobre el muro. Las manos trabajando la arena se convierten as\u00ed en una forma de adivinaci\u00f3n digital: rastros inestables, gestos inciertos, apariciones y desapariciones continuas.\r\n\r\nLa performance explora tambi\u00e9n otras formas de sostener y transportar el cuerpo. Llevar a alguien a cuestas como a un ni\u00f1o, improvisar asientos con sacos o estructuras precarias, trasladar a un anciano entre dos palos de un pueblo a otro. In this domain, functionality and symbolism coexist without hierarchies: the everyday can become a ritual, and the simplest of gestures might reveal a profound, ancestral side of things.\r\n\r\nThis piece takes shape as an act of divination occurring in a contemporary urban context. Instead of percussion, we use sand and electronic devices to create frequences able to move it. We then draw over top of this living surface, evoking ephemeral forms, enabling them to appear, as if matter were trying to speak.\r\n\r\nSand represents vibration, latent energy and movement.\r\n\r\nThe stool represents weight, a centre and stability.\r\n\r\nAt the heart of the action we have the\u00a0<em>nkoh<\/em>, a stool from ethnic Bamileke culture. I sit on it covered by a large piece of cloth that transforms the body into an almost pyramidal figure. The stool is a seat, drum, throne and memory itself: the hidden chair; the grandfather\u2019s throne; the chair at the door, waiting without expecting anyone; the presence the body resonates from.\r\n\r\nTwo cameras film the drawing tables and project the images on the wall. In this way, the hands working the sand become a kind of digital divination: shaky traces, hesitant gestures, ongoing appearances and disappearances.\r\n\r\nThe performance also explores other ways of holding up and moving the body. Carrying someone on your back, like a child; improvising seating with sacks or unstable structures; moving an elderly person between two poles from one village to another. Here the chair is not just a functional object, but an extension of the body, an instrument of survival, care and transmission.\r\n\r\nA visible chair.\r\n\r\nAnother that is invisible.\r\n\r\nThe chair of life.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>Xumo Nunjo.<\/strong>\u00a0An independent artist, musician and producer from Cameroon, based in Barcelona. His grandparents initiated him in traditional Bamileke performing arts, which would have a powerful impact on his artistic sensibility and creative path. His interests include architecture, art history, anthropology, theatre and the visual arts, all of which contribute to his original, cross-disciplinary work. In his career he has participated in the creation and production of stage shows, recordings, performance art, street art projects and advertising campaigns. He has performed in throughout Europe, the United States, Asia and Africa, presenting original work that reflects on his abundant artistic universe.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>Angel Ihosvanny.\u00a0<\/strong>A multidisciplinary artist living and working between Barcelona and Luanda. His practice encompasses painting, installation, video and music, addressing themes in contemporary urban planning, consumerism and the transformation of the environment.
