Va esdevenir un dels col\u00b7lectius d\u2019art abstracte m\u00e9s importants durant la d\u00e8cada de 1930.\r\n\r\nAbstraction-Cr\u00e9ation va arribar a comptar amb m\u00e9s de 400 membres de diferents nacionalitats i sensibilitats art\u00edstiques. Tot i no ser un moviment prescriptiu i malgrat la gran diversitat d\u2019idees i pr\u00e0ctiques entre els seus membres, el grup va tenir un paper fonamental en la defensa i difusi\u00f3 de l\u2019art abstracte a Europa. Although it was not a prescriptive movement, and despite the wide diversity of ideas and practices among its members, the group played a fundamental role in defending and disseminating abstract art across Europe.
