La construcci\u00f3 s\u2019inscriu en el per\u00edode ut\u00f2pic de l\u2019arquitecte, quan el seu estudi, Ricardo Bofill Taller d\u2019Arquitectura (RBTA), funcionava com una amalgama d\u2019arquitectes, poetes, pintors i altres creadors. All\u00f2 que havia de ser un complex concebut segons criteris de modernitat va quedar inconcl\u00fas, i avui posa en evid\u00e8ncia la tensi\u00f3 entre el somni d\u2019aquella \u00e8poca i la realitat dels llegats colonials moderns. La trilogia ha rebut el suport d\u2019Amarte Fonds, Mondriaan Fonds, Stroom Den Haag, VEGAP, Hangar i Ricardo Bofill Taller d\u2019Arquitectura.
