Taking as a starting point a structure built by I\u00f1igo from acrylic paint extracted from its support and folded on itself, Fern\u00e1ndez develops a hyperrealistic interpretation that attends to the material and formal qualities of the object.\r\n\r\nMore than a reproduction, the work activates a reflection on the displacements between presence and image, volume and illusion. Painting here assumes the ability to contain and reformulate that which belongs to the sculptural field, tensioning the boundaries between both languages.
