Monuments, retrats oficials, fotografies de premsa, portades de peri\u00f2dics, escultures p\u00fabliques, iconografia militar o escenes de conflicte formen part d'un llenguatge visual acuradament constru\u00eft per a legitimar determinades formes d'autoritat i modelar la nostra percepci\u00f3 de la realitat. L'exposici\u00f3 proposa precisament desmuntar aquesta arquitectura simb\u00f2lica que sost\u00e9 els relats oficials.\r\n\r\nL'obra de\u00a0Garraza\u00a0es mou en un territori deliberadament ambigu, on realitat i ficci\u00f3 s'entrellacen fins a tornar-se gaireb\u00e9 indistingibles. A trav\u00e9s d'una pintura d'extraordin\u00e0ria precisi\u00f3 t\u00e8cnica, l'artista reinterpreta imatges hist\u00f2riques i contempor\u00e0nies, altera els seus contextos i proposa escenaris alternatius que introdueixen el dubte all\u00ed on normalment trobem certeses. A trav\u00e9s de una pintura de extraordinaria precisi\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica, el artista reinterpreta im\u00e1genes hist\u00f3ricas y contempor\u00e1neas, altera sus contextos y propone escenarios alternativos que introducen la duda all\u00ed donde normalmente encontramos certezas. Monuments, official portraits, press photographs, newspaper front pages, public sculptures, military iconography and scenes of conflict all form part of a visual language carefully constructed to legitimise certain forms of authority and shape our perception of reality. The exhibition aims precisely to dismantle this symbolic architecture that underpins official narratives.\r\n\r\nGarraza\u2019s work operates in a deliberately ambiguous territory, where reality and fiction intertwine until they become almost indistinguishable. Through paintings of extraordinary technical precision, the artist reinterprets historical and contemporary images, alters their contexts and proposes alternative scenarios that introduce doubt where we would normally find certainties.
