Relleus i estructures tubulars s\u2019estenen per la paret i el terra amb inclinacions que recorden rampes de c\u00e0rrega, dip\u00f2sits o conduccions, mentre les seves superf\u00edcies incorporen textures vinculades als materials que han passat pel port i als sediments que configuren el litoral. El resultat no busca reproduir aquestes infraestructures, sin\u00f3 treballar des de les mateixes l\u00f2giques f\u00edsiques que les construeixen.\r\n\r\nPer\u00f2 els rastres d\u2019aquests moviments no s\u00f3n nom\u00e9s f\u00edsics: tamb\u00e9 queden inscrits en els noms dels llocs. La topon\u00edmia conserva traject\u00f2ries i antigues geografies que les transformacions del territori han anat cobrint, i Llavaneras hi troba una mena de registre que continua funcionant quan el paisatge ja ha canviat. Les paraules es comporten aix\u00ed com f\u00f2ssils ling\u00fc\u00edstics, restes capaces de fixar en el present alguna cosa d\u2019un territori anterior.\r\n\r\nEls papers que documenten l\u2019activitat del port tamb\u00e9 acaben convertits en mat\u00e8ria escult\u00f2rica. Llavaneras treballa amb registres de proced\u00e8ncies i quantitats, els plega o els comprimeix i els converteix en formes de tub i d\u2019embut. La informaci\u00f3 perd la seva disposici\u00f3 original sobre el paper i passa a ocupar espai, com si les dades seguissin el mateix proc\u00e9s de transformaci\u00f3 que les mercaderies que documenten.\r\n\r\nAlgunes peces incorporen, a m\u00e9s, materials org\u00e0nics que continuaran canviant durant l\u2019exposici\u00f3. Las palabras se comportan as\u00ed como f\u00f3siles ling\u00fc\u00edsticos, restos capaces de fijar en el presente algo de un territorio anterior.\r\n\r\nLos papeles que documentan la actividad del puerto tambi\u00e9n acaban convertidos en materia escult\u00f3rica. Llavaneras trabaja con registros de procedencias y cantidades, los pliega o los comprime y los convierte en formas de tubo y de embudo. La informaci\u00f3n pierde su disposici\u00f3n original sobre el papel y pasa a ocupar espacio, como si los datos siguieran el mismo proceso de transformaci\u00f3n que las mercanc\u00edas que documentan.\r\n\r\nAlgunas piezas incorporan, adem\u00e1s, materiales org\u00e1nicos que continuar\u00e1n cambiando durante la exposici\u00f3n. La cristalizaci\u00f3n y la degradaci\u00f3n alterar\u00e1n progresivamente las superficies, haciendo que el tiempo tambi\u00e9n intervenga sobre unas esculturas construidas precisamente a partir de procesos de sedimentaci\u00f3n y transformaci\u00f3n.","desc_en":"The exhibition, curated by Freya Day in collaboration with Cultura Verda, takes its name from one of the infrastructures of the Port of Tarragona and translates into sculpture some of the forms that make the circulation of materials possible. Reliefs and tubular structures spread across the wall and floor with inclinations reminiscent of loading ramps, tanks, or pipelines, while their surfaces incorporate textures linked to the materials that have passed through the port and to the sediments that shape the coastline. The result does not seek to reproduce these infrastructures, but rather to work from the same physical logics that construct them.\r\n\r\nBut the traces of these movements are not only physical: they are also inscribed in the names of places. Toponymy preserves trajectories and former geographies that the territory's transformations have gradually covered over, and Llavaneras finds in this a kind of record that keeps functioning even once the landscape has already changed. Words thus behave like linguistic fossils, remnants capable of fixing in the present something of an earlier territory.\r\n\r\nThe papers documenting the port's activity also end up transformed into sculptural matter. Llavaneras works with records of origins and quantities, folding or compressing them into tube and funnel shapes. The information loses its original layout on the page and comes to occupy space, as if the data followed the same process of transformation as the goods it documents.\r\n\r\nSome pieces also incorporate organic materials that will continue to change over the course of the exhibition.
