La superf\u00edcie met\u00e0l\u00b7lica conserva les tensions generades durant aquest proc\u00e9s i es converteix en el registre d\u2019all\u00f2 que ha succe\u00eft al seu interior.\r\n\r\nINTUS<\/em>, adverbi llat\u00ed que significa \u00abdins\u00bb, \u00abper dins\u00bb o \u00abcap a l\u2019interior\u00bb, assenyala el despla\u00e7ament que articula l\u2019exposici\u00f3. L\u2019atenci\u00f3 es dirigeix cap a l\u2019espai delimitat per aquestes superf\u00edcies, fins ara inaccessible a la mirada. Les escultures de la s\u00e8rie\u00a0INTUS<\/em>, realitzades en guix i marbre, materialitzen fragments de l\u2019espai negatiu de la cova. En a\u00efllar aquests volums i presentar-los com a cossos aut\u00f2noms, l\u2019artista fa visible una forma que fins aleshores existia com a cavitat. El buit adquireix consist\u00e8ncia material, per\u00f2 conserva les empremtes del contacte amb all\u00f2 que l\u2019envoltava.","desc_es":"

Durante a\u00f1os, Gonzalo Guzm\u00e1n ha desarrollado un proceso de trabajo basado en la transformaci\u00f3n de dos l\u00e1minas de acero soldadas entre s\u00ed. Sometidas a la presi\u00f3n del agua, estas se expanden hasta adquirir un volumen que no ha sido modelado previamente. Aunque el artista determina las condiciones iniciales, la forma surge como resultado de fuerzas que no controla por completo. La superficie met\u00e1lica conserva las tensiones producidas durante este proceso y se convierte en el registro de aquello que ha sucedido en su interior.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

INTUS<\/i>, adverbio latino que significa \u00abdentro\u00bb, \u00abpor dentro\u00bb o \u00abhacia el interior\u00bb, se\u00f1ala el desplazamiento que articula la exposici\u00f3n. La atenci\u00f3n se dirige hacia el espacio delimitado por esas superficies, hasta ahora inaccesible a la mirada. Las esculturas de la serie\u00a0INTUS<\/i>, realizadas en yeso y m\u00e1rmol, materializan fragmentos del espacio negativo de la cueva. Al aislar estos vol\u00famenes y presentarlos como cuerpos aut\u00f3nomos, el artista hace visible una forma que anteriormente exist\u00eda como cavidad. Attention shifts towards the space defined by these surfaces, previously inaccessible to view. The sculptures from the\u00a0INTUS<\/em>\u00a0series, made of plaster and marble, materialise fragments of the cave\u2019s negative space. By isolating these volumes and presenting them as autonomous bodies, the artist makes visible a form that had previously existed as a cavity.
