Papers, 1960s","desc_ca":"Tot plegat conforma un corpus de propostes extraordinari desenvolupat al llarg dels anys i que l\u2019artista <strong>Mois\u00e8s Vill\u00e8lia<\/strong> va anar acompanyant d\u2019experimentacions mat\u00e8riques amb efectes sovint captivadors. A vegades, per fugir de la monotonia del full blanc, Vill\u00e8lia va optar per intervenir sobre el paper de les maneres m\u00e9s diverses, aplicant-hi cinta adhesiva, afegint-hi goma laca, empalustrant els fulls amb oli, arrugant-los per buscar textures, trepanant-los, troquelant-los, retallant-los com si fossin estergits, esquin\u00e7ant-los o aplicant-los-hi tant collage com tota mena de t\u00e8cniques mixtes. No va renunciar a res. Ben al contrari, va mantenir el neguit i el desfici per la descoberta i l\u2019experimentaci\u00f3 fins al punt de convertir, a vegades, el paper en material escult\u00f2ric per elevar volums de qualitats et\u00e8ries, com les dels m\u00f2bils. En ocasiones, con el prop\u00f3sito de huir de la monoton\u00eda de la hoja en blanco, Vill\u00e8lia opt\u00f3 por intervenir sobre el papel de las formas m\u00e1s diversas, aplicando cinta adhesiva, a\u00f1adiendo goma laca, embadurnando las hojas con aceite, arrug\u00e1ndolas en busca de texturas, trepan\u00e1ndolas, troquel\u00e1ndolas, recort\u00e1ndolas como si fueran estarcidos, rasg\u00e1ndolas o aplic\u00e1ndoles tanto <em>collage <\/em>como todo tipo de t\u00e9cnicas mixtas. No renunci\u00f3 a nada. Al contrario: mantuvo la inquietud y el ansia por descubrir y experimentar, hasta el punto, en ocasiones, de convertir el papel en material escult\u00f3rico para elevar vol\u00famenes de cualidades et\u00e9reas, como es el caso de los m\u00f3viles. At times, in order to avoid the monotony of the white piece of paper, Vill\u00e8lia opted to intervene on his sheets in the most diverse ways, applying adhesive tape or shellac to them, daubing them with oil, wrinkling them to generate textures, perforating and punching holes in them, cutting them in the manner of stencils, tearing them or applying collage and all kinds of mixed media to them. On the contrary, he retained his compulsion and craving for discovery and experimentation, so much so that he turned paper at times into sculptural material in order to elevate volumes with ethereal qualities, such as those of his mobiles.
