Aix\u00f2 \u00e9s el que sost\u00e9 i afirma els cossos, per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 les institucions.\r\n\r\nCan\u00e7\u00f3 per a molts moviments<\/em> \u00e9s un experiment ef\u00edmer en qu\u00e8 la planta baixa de l\u2019edifici Meier es transforma en escenari de trobades, converses i escoltes compartides. Es tracta d\u2019una obertura provisional d\u2019investigacions en proc\u00e9s dins del museu, algunes d\u2019existents i d\u2019altres que encara han de venir. En aquesta primera inst\u00e0ncia, el projecte pren la forma d\u2019una invitaci\u00f3 oberta, un espai per habitar i encara per definir. Un desplegament d\u2019energies en curs i cossos documentals que remeten a processos de creaci\u00f3 col\u00b7lectiva del present, del passat i de la mem\u00f2ria viva del que vindr\u00e0. Se trata de una apertura provisional de investigaciones en curso y de sus genealog\u00edas pasadas y futuras dentro y fuera del museo, a fin de exponer esas din\u00e1micas de aprendizaje colectivo y las preguntas que se abren en el proceso. El proyecto es una invitaci\u00f3n a concebir el espacio expositivo como un espacio por habitar. In her poem \u2018A Song for Many Movements\u2019, Audre Lorde reminds us that \u2018our labour has become more important than our silence\u2019. There is a strength arising from the voices and sounds of coming together, even the necessary pauses and breaks have their sonorities. It is in these multiple ways of sustaining each other and in these ongoing rehearsals of ways of being together that scenes of collective creation are articulated. These spaces are what sustain and hold up collective bodies, but also institutions.<\/p>\r\n

Song for Many Movements<\/em> is an experiment in which the ground floor of the Meier building is transformed into an ephemeral stage for encounters, conversations and shared listening. It is a provisional opening of ongoing research taking place within the Museum, but also pointing at that which is to come. In this first moment, the project takes the form of an open invitation, a space to be inhabited and yet to be defined. A display of energies in progress and documentary bodies that refer to processes of collective creation of the present, the past and the living memory of what is to come. This initial invitation is not so much an exhibition as a rehearsal in different ways of mutual exposure and sustenance of one another.
