La seva recerca molts cops es basa en experi\u00e8ncies des de posicions neurodivergents i queer, q\u00fcestionant els diferents l\u00edmits normatius establerts sobre les capacitats corporals i cognitives. Aquestes q\u00fcestions apareixen de manera recurrent en la seva obra com a temes, per\u00f2 sobretot com a m\u00e8todes per desaprendre el capacitisme i avan\u00e7ar cap a un proc\u00e9s art\u00edstic m\u00e9s sostenible i accessible.  \r\n\r\nA la seva proposta per a Espai 13, l\u2019artista explora alguns dels discursos i estrat\u00e8gies del sistema disciplinari psiqui\u00e0tric que han definit el relat sobre la neurodiversitat i en especial sobre l\u2019espectre autista. Sovint aquestes disciplines repressives estan orientades a refor\u00e7ar el sistema hegem\u00f2nic, a fer que tot funcioni. El control, l\u2019internament, la repressi\u00f3 i medicaci\u00f3 dels agents disruptius s\u00f3n la base d\u2019aquest sistema regulador. Aix\u00ed mateix, la disciplina i les sancions estan dirigides a preservar all\u00f2 m\u00e9s valu\u00f3s d\u2019una persona segons el sistema capitalista: la seva capacitat de produir i consumir. Davant d\u2019aquestes estructures i discursos al voltant de la neurodiversitat, Inari Sandell proposa un referent inesperat com a forma de resist\u00e8ncia: la papallona. Estas cuestiones aparecen de modo recurrente en su obra como temas, pero sobre todo como m\u00e9todos para desaprender el capacitismo y avanzar hacia un proceso art\u00edstico m\u00e1s sostenible y accesible.  \r\n\r\nEn su propuesta para el Espai 13, le artista explora algunos de los discursos y estrategias del sistema disciplinario psiqui\u00e1trico que han definido el relato sobre la neurodiversidad y, en especial, sobre el espectro autista. A menudo esas disciplinas represivas est\u00e1n orientadas a reforzar el sistema hegem\u00f3nico, a hacer que todo funcione. El control, la internaci\u00f3n, la represi\u00f3n y la medicaci\u00f3n de los agentes disruptivos son la base de ese sistema regulador. Asimismo, la disciplina y las sanciones est\u00e1n dirigidas a preservar lo m\u00e1s valioso de una persona seg\u00fan el sistema capitalista: su capacidad de producir y consumir. Ante tales estructuras y discursos en torno a la neurodiversidad, Inari Sandell propone un referente inesperado como forma de resistencia: la mariposa. Their research is frequently based on experiences lived from neurodivergent and queer positions, while questioning the different conventional limits established in relation to bodily and cognitive capacities. These themes appear repeatedly in their work mainly as methods for unlearning ableism and advancing towards a more sustainable and accessible artistic practice. \r\n\r\nIn their project for Espai 13, Sandell explores some of the discourses and strategies of the psychiatric disciplinary system that have defined standard accounts of neurodiversity, and especially of autism spectrum disorder. These repressive methods are often aimed at reinforcing the dominant system to ensure that everything works. The control, internment, repression, and medication of disruptive agents are at the basis of this regulatory system. Accordingly, discipline and sanctions are intended to preserve what the capitalist system regards as a person\u2019s most valuable attributes: their capacity to produce and consume. In response to these structures and discourses surrounding neurodiversity, Sandell proposes an unexpected signifier to convey an idea of resistance: the butterfly.
