Zurkow \u00e9s la primera artista seleccionada dins el cicle 'Antroposcenes, narracions sobre la vida a l'Antropoc\u00e8' de la Fa\u00e7ana de Lo Pati.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">L'artista projectar\u00e0 <strong><em>'OOzy #3: just because you can't swim in it doesn't mean it isn't there'<\/em><\/strong>, una pe\u00e7a que ofereix la possibilitat de somiar amb les parts m\u00e9s profundes de l'oce\u00e0, per imaginar i protegir aquests paisatges, que s\u00f3n de fet un component desconegut, cr\u00edtic i viu dels nostres sistemes planetaris. A 6.000 metres sota la superf\u00edcie de l'oce\u00e0, un \u00e9sser hum\u00e0 experimentaria una pressi\u00f3 aclaparadora, temperatures de congelaci\u00f3 i foscor total. Per\u00f2 en aquestes zones hi prosperen esculls de corall, calamars i aranyes marines entre molts altres animals. <\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">L'obra de Zurkow s'ha exposat a nombrosos museus d'art internacionals. Zurkow va ser bec\u00e0ria Guggenheim de 2011 i va rebre subvencions de la Fundaci\u00f3 Rockefeller.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Durant tot el 2024, la 'sala exterior' de Lo Pati acollir\u00e0 'Antroposcenes, narracions sobre la vida a l'Antropoc\u00e8', un cicle comissariat per Pau Waelder amb sis propostes art\u00edstiques. Waelder ha escollit el treball de sis artistes que reflexionen sobre la vida a l'antropoc\u00e8, un concepte que remet a la idea de per\u00edode geol\u00f2gic per definir els temps marcats per la decisiva influ\u00e8ncia de l'activitat humana en el nostre planeta.
