Ana Mas Projects presenta la primera exposici\u00f3 individual de Rita Sala a la galeria. L\u2019artista, qui va comen\u00e7ar a col\u00b7laborar amb la galeria l\u2019any 2023, ha estat incorporada recentment com a artista representada i ha participat amb Ana Mas Project a la fira CAN Ibiza 2023 i amb un\u00a0solo project<\/i>\u00a0a la fira INVESTEC Cape Town Art Fair 2024.<\/p>\r\n

Durant els \u00faltims anys ha estat investigant sobre la necessitat humana de significar l\u2019espai que s\u2019ocupa i s\u2019envolta, i de trobar-hi un sentit. Des d\u2019aqu\u00ed es planteja la pintura configurant un espai que al mateix temps que \u00e9s contingut, cont\u00e9 unes figures que funcionen com a fons, i un fons que \u00e9s figura.<\/p>\r\n

Per aquesta exposici\u00f3 l\u2019artista catalana est\u00e0 treballant en un nou conjunt d\u2019obres, en les que ha tornat a recuperar la pr\u00e0ctica de la pintura a l\u2019oli. Sala ha volgut centrar-se, en aquesta ocasi\u00f3, en la seva reflexi\u00f3 entorn del paisatge, entenent el paisatge des d\u2019una perspectiva expandida com un viatge que travessa estadis, capes, mons imaginaris i altres sistemes emocionals, sexuals i pol\u00edtics. La seva obra es construeix sobre unes narracions pict\u00f2riques que es van alternant i superposant, que circulen i es relacionen a trav\u00e9s de diferents localitzacions, nivells i punts de vista. Unes anades i vingudes, entre q\u00fcestions abstractes i quotidianes, que assenyalen el mateix: els \u00e9ssers humans i la seva activitat, pensaments i afectes, records i hist\u00f2ries de vida.<\/p>","desc_es":"

Para esta exposici\u00f3n la artista catalana est\u00e1 trabajando en un nuevo conjunto de obras, en las que a vuelto a recuperar la pr\u00e1ctica de la pintura al \u00f3leo. Sala ha querido centrarse, en esta ocasi\u00f3n, en su reflexi\u00f3n en torno al paisaje, entendiendo el paisaje desde una perspectiva expandida como un viaje que atraviesa estadios, capas, mundos imaginarios y otros sistemas emocionales, sexuales y pol\u00edticos. Su obra se construye sobre unas narraciones pict\u00f3ricas que se van alternando y superponiendo, que circulan y se relacionan a trav\u00e9s de diferentes localizaciones, niveles y puntos de vista. Ana Mas Projects presents Rita Sala\u2019s first solo exhibition at the gallery. The artist, who began working with the gallery in 2023 and officially joined its portfolio recently, took part with Ana Mas Projects at the 2023 CAN Ibiza art fair and presented a solo project at the 2024\u00a0Investec\u00a0Cape Town Art Fair.<\/p>\r\n

In recent years, the Catalan artist has been exploring the human need to signify the space one occupies and surrounds oneself with, and to find meaning. From that starting point, her painting aims to configure\u00a0a space that, while contained, also contains figures that function as a background and a background that is a figure.<\/p>\r\n

For this exhibition, Sala has produced a new series of works in which she returns once more to the practice of oil painting. On this occasion, she focuses on the landscape, examining it from an expanded perspective as a journey that goes through stages, layers, imaginary worlds and is affected by other emotional, sexual and political systems. Her work is constructed around pictorial narratives that alternate and overlap, which circulate and interrelate through different locations, levels and points of view.
