La mostra inclou algunes de les seves obres m\u00e9s emblem\u00e0tiques pintades a principis dels setanta, etapa que ella mateixa va denominar \u201cEls anys durs\u201d.\r\n\r\nEn aquestes obres, l\u2019artista, de forma molt conscient, utilitza el cromatisme i les formes contundents per denunciar les nombroses injust\u00edcies socials que el r\u00e8gim franquista perpetuava i, en especial els abusos contra les dones. Cal recordar que Esther Boix sempre fou una artista pol\u00edticament compromesa i que ja des de ben jove, va manifestar la seva voluntat de centrar-se en les experi\u00e8ncies humanes per sobre de la concepci\u00f3 formal de l\u2019obra.\r\n\r\nDurant els seixanta, va ser de les primeres artistes, al costat d\u2019altres pioneres com Ana Peters o Mari Chord\u00e1 en preguntar-se pels rols tradicionals de les dones, com insinuen obres com G\u00e0bies (1963) o el dibuix Paisatge amb figura (1966).","desc_es":"

Se trata de la primera exposici\u00f3n individual que se le dedica al artista desde 2006, y que vuelve a poner de relieve el trabajo de una artista que con los a\u00f1os se ha ido haciendo m\u00e1s relevante. La muestra incluye algunas de sus obras m\u00e1s emblem\u00e1ticas pintadas a principios de los setenta, etapa que ella misma denomin\u00f3 \u201cLos a\u00f1os duros\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

En estas obras, el artista, de forma muy consciente, utiliza el cromatismo y las formas contundentes para denunciar las numerosas injusticias sociales que el r\u00e9gimen franquista perpetuaba y, en especial, los abusos contra las mujeres. Cabe recordar que Esther Boix siempre fue una artista pol\u00edticamente comprometida y que ya desde joven, manifest\u00f3 su voluntad de centrarse en las experiencias humanas por encima de la concepci\u00f3n formal de la obra.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Durante los sesenta, fue de las primeras artistas, junto a otras pioneras como Ana Peters o Mari Chord\u00e1 al preguntarse por los roles tradicionales de las mujeres, c\u00f3mo insin\u00faan obras como Jaulas (1963) o el dibujo Paisaje con figura (1966).<\/span><\/p>","desc_en":"

This is the first individual exhibition dedicated to the artist since 2006, and which once again highlights the work of an artist who has become more relevant over the years. The exhibition includes some of her most emblematic works painted in the early seventies, a period that she herself called \u201cThe hard years\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

In these works, the artist, very consciously, uses chromaticism and forceful forms to denounce the numerous social injustices perpetuated by the Franco regime and, in particular, the abuse against women. It should be remembered that Esther Boix was always a politically committed artist and that from a very young age, she expressed her desire to focus on human experiences above the formal conception of the work.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
