Com ja s\u2019ha exposat en reiterades ocasions, el centenari del naixement d\u2019Antoni T\u00e0pies no implica nom\u00e9s un homenatge al passat, sin\u00f3 tamb\u00e9 una celebraci\u00f3 de tot el que est\u00e0 per venir. En aquest sentit, \u00e9s profundament necessari que siguem capa\u00e7os de repensar un llegat que encara ens interpel\u00b7la i que consta de moltes capes de lectura encara per desvelar i descobrir.\r\n\r\nEl Simposi Internacional\u00a0<i>Representaci\u00f3 i enigma: des del llindar de les imatges<\/i>, coordinat per Imma Prieto i Judith Barn\u00e9s, directora i responsable de programes p\u00fablics del Museu T\u00e0pies, respectivament, girar\u00e0 a l\u2019entorn de tres \u00e0mbits conceptuals:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Representaci\u00f3 i no-representaci\u00f3, que posar\u00e0 el focus en la dicotomia inherent en la plasmaci\u00f3 de la realitat, i en el binomi figuraci\u00f3\/abstracci\u00f3, tot generant noves situacions nominals m\u00e9s permeables.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Temps i no-temps, que se centrar\u00e0 en la continu\u00eftat i la discontinu\u00eftat de t\u00e8cniques, de llenguatges simb\u00f2lics, tot trencant amb la linealitat i amb el sentit cronol\u00f2gic del proc\u00e9s creatiu.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Enigma i concreci\u00f3, que posar\u00e0 en relaci\u00f3 la creaci\u00f3 amb la m\u00e0gia, tot incorporant el concepte de demi\u00fcrg, i que reivindicar\u00e0 les m\u00faltiples capes de lectura d\u2019una obra d\u2019art i el paper actiu de l\u2019espectador a l\u2019hora d\u2019activar relats.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nPer mitj\u00e0 d\u2019aquests tres \u00e0mbits, i amb les obres d\u2019Antoni T\u00e0pies que integren la retrospectiva com a rerefons conceptual, es fomentar\u00e0 un acostament lliure i personal per part dels participants del simposi que permetr\u00e0 mirar de nou un codi visual i de pensament per repensar-lo i repensar-nos des del temps actual. Com es podr\u00e0 constatar en el programa del simposi, es convidar\u00e0 investigadors, acad\u00e8mics i comissaris nacionals i internacionals que aparentment no presenten una connexi\u00f3 evident amb l\u2019artista, justament per facilitar aquesta disrupci\u00f3.\r\n\r\nLes tres sessions del simposi internacional partiran d\u2019una pon\u00e8ncia inicial i, tot seguit, es presentaran dues r\u00e8pliques que propiciaran la cr\u00edtica i el di\u00e0leg entre els convidats. Integraran el programa Manuel Borja-Villel, Hans D. Christ, Nausika\u00e4 El-Mecky, Isabel de Naver\u00e1n, Carmen Pardo, Jos\u00e9 A. En este sentido, es profundamente necesario que seamos capaces de repensar un legado que todav\u00eda nos interpela y que consta de muchas capas de lectura a\u00fan por desvelar y descubrir.\r\n\r\nEl Simposio Internacional\u00a0<i>Representaci\u00f3n y enigma: desde el umbral de las im\u00e1genes<\/i>, coordinado por Imma Prieto y Judith Barn\u00e9s, directora y responsable de programas p\u00fablicos del Museu T\u00e0pies, respectivamente, girar\u00e1 en torno a tres \u00e1mbitos conceptuales:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Representaci\u00f3n y no representaci\u00f3n, que pondr\u00e1 el foco en la dicotom\u00eda inherente en la plasmaci\u00f3n de la realidad, y en el binomio figuraci\u00f3n\/abstracci\u00f3n, generando nuevas situaciones nominales m\u00e1s permeables.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Tiempo y no tiempo, que se centrar\u00e1 en la continuidad y la discontinuidad de t\u00e9cnicas, de lenguajes simb\u00f3licos, rompiendo con la linealidad y con el sentido cronol\u00f3gico del proceso creativo.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Enigma y concreci\u00f3n, que pondr\u00e1 en relaci\u00f3n la creaci\u00f3n con la magia, incorporando el concepto de demiurgo, y que reivindicar\u00e1 las m\u00faltiples capas de lectura de una obra de arte y el papel activo del espectador a la hora de activar relatos.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nPor medio de estos tres \u00e1mbitos, y con las obras de Antoni T\u00e0pies que integran la retrospectiva como trasfondo conceptual, se fomentar\u00e1 un acercamiento libre y personal por parte de los participantes del simposio que permitir\u00e1 mirar de nuevo un c\u00f3digo visual y de pensamiento para repensarlo y repensarnos desde el tiempo actual. Como se podr\u00e1 constatar en el programa del simposio, se invitar\u00e1 a investigadores, acad\u00e9micos y curadores nacionales e internacionales que aparentemente no presentan una conexi\u00f3n evidente con el artista, precisamente para facilitar esta disrupci\u00f3n.\r\n\r\nLas tres sesiones del simposio internacional partir\u00e1n de una ponencia inicial y, a continuaci\u00f3n, se presentar\u00e1n dos r\u00e9plicas que propiciar\u00e1n la cr\u00edtica y el di\u00e1logo entre los invitados. As has been pointed out repeatedly, the centenary of Antoni T\u00e0pies\u2019 birth involves not only a homage to the past but also a celebration of all that is to come. In this respect, it is absolutely necessary for us to be able to rethink a legacy that still speaks to us and in which there still remain many layers of interpretation to reveal and discover.\r\n\r\nThe international symposium\u00a0<em>Representation and Enigma: From the Threshold of Images<\/em>, coordinated by Imma Prieto, director of the Museu T\u00e0pies, and Judith Barn\u00e9s, public programmes coordinator of the Museu T\u00e0pies will revolve around three conceptual areas:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Representation and non-representation, focusing on the inherent dychotomy of the reflection of reality, and on the pair of figuration and abstraction, generating new, more permeable nominal situations.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Time and non-time, concentrating on the continuity and otherwise of techniques, of symbolic languages, breaking with linearity and with the chronological sense of the creative process.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Enigma and specificness, relating creation to magic, incorporating the concept of the demiurge and highlighting the multiple layers of interpretation of a work of art and the active role of the viewer in activating narratives.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nThrough these three areas, and with the works by Antoni T\u00e0pies that make up the retrospective as a backdrop, participants in the symposium will be encourage adopting a free, personal approach, to allow them to look again at a visual and though code in order to rethink it and rethink ourselves today. As indicated in the symposium programme, the invitation goes out to researchers, academics and curators from Spain and abroad without any apparent connection with the artist, precisely to encourage this disruption.\r\n\r\nThe three sessions of the international symposium will begin with an initial talk, followed by two replies to encourage criticism and dialogue between the guests.
