Junts treballen amb formes i volums per crear peces \u00faniques que capturen l'ess\u00e8ncia de l'art contemporani i l'escultura.\r\n\r\nElisabet Urp\u00ed, nascuda a Catalunya el 1985, i Nacho Umpi\u00e9rrez, nascut a Uruguai el 1983, treballen i resideixen a Barcelona des de fa m\u00e9s de 15 anys. La seva obra \u00e9s reconeguda internacionalment pels seus objectes escult\u00f2rics que fusionen art i disseny.\r\n\r\nPer a aquesta exposici\u00f3, el d\u00fao s'inspira en el Mediterrani, centrant-se en les seves formes org\u00e0niques i belles. La seva instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 posa l'accent en la bellesa del Mediterrani i el que queda d'ell. Una de les principals fonts d'inspiraci\u00f3 ha estat l'alga Padina, origin\u00e0ria del Mediterrani, que els ha fascinat per les seves formes, el seu h\u00e0bitat i la llum que necessita per a sobreviure. Les obres d'aquesta mostra recreen el moviment, la flora i els reflexos del mar.\r\n\r\nELIURPI va ser fundat fa 15 anys a Barcelona. La seva pr\u00e0ctica creativa est\u00e0 basada en la cultura, l'arquitectura i l'art contemporani, a trav\u00e9s dels quals creen peces \u00faniques i h\u00edbrides. Inicialment, es van donar a con\u00e8ixer pels seus barrets escult\u00f2rics, i en els \u00faltims cinc anys el seu univers s'ha expandit a escultures i altres peces d'art. Comparteixen una vida professional i personal, i desenvolupen un llenguatge art\u00edstic \u00fanic que beu de les influ\u00e8ncies i disciplines de tots dos. La seva feina reviveix tradicions culturals i les reinterpreta amb una p\u00e1tina contempor\u00e0nia.
