M\u00f2nica Planes","desc_ca":"La primera vegada que vaig veure la\u00a0<em>Hermafrodita adormida<\/em>, desde lluny, em va cridar molt m\u00e9s l'atenci\u00f3 que les altres escultures amb les que compartia sala. Semblava un cos femen\u00ed, estirat, d'esquenes. Em vaig apropar directament a ella. A difer\u00e8ncia d'altres escultures cl\u00e0ssiques, aquesta no tenia ni davant ni darrere. Es tracta d'una figura dormint, just en el moment en que comen\u00e7a a activar el seu cos per donar-se la volta i canviar de posici\u00f3. El seu moviment rotatori et fa rodejar-la, resseguint la seva acci\u00f3 per veure-la sencera i no aconsegueixes entendre-la fins que no li has donat la volta: el llan\u00e7ol amb el qual est\u00e0 parcialment coberta s'ha enredat amb el peu que, en moure's, tira d'ella i la destapa, descobrint els seus genitals, que comencen a asomar a la vegada que el ventre es separar\u00e1 del terra.\r\n\r\nEs tracta d'una de les 'Hermafrodites adormides' que es conserven actualment, una tipologia d'escultura molt valorada en l'\u00e8poca romana. El gir que es representa en ella i el que ens obliga a realitzar al seu voltant son el punt de partida de les peces que es presenten en aquesta exposici\u00f3.","desc_es":"La primera vez que vi la\u00a0<em>Hermafrodita durmiente<\/em>, desde lejos, me llam\u00f3 mucho m\u00e1s la atenci\u00f3n que las otras esculturas con las que compart\u00eda sala. Parec\u00eda un cuerpo femenino, tumbado, de espaldas. Me acerqu\u00e9 directamente a ella. A diferencia de otras esculturas cl\u00e1sicas, no ten\u00eda ni delante ni detr\u00e1s. Se trata de una figura durmiendo, justo en el momento en que empieza a activar su cuerpo para darse la vuelta y cambiar de posici\u00f3n. Su movimiento rotatorio te hace rodearla, resiguiendo su acci\u00f3n para poder verla entera y no consigues entenderla hasta que no le has dado la vuelta: la s\u00e1bana con la que est\u00e1 parcialmente cubierta se ha enredado con su pie que, al moverse, tira de ella y la destapa, descubriendo sus genitales, que empiezan a asomar a la vez que su vientre se separar\u00e1 del suelo.\r\n\r\nSe trata de una de las ocho \u2018Hermafroditas durmientes\u2019 que se conservan actualmente, una tipolog\u00eda de escultura muy valorada en la \u00e9poca romana. El giro que en ella se representa y el que nos obliga a realizar a su alrededor son el punto de partida de las piezas que se presentan en esta exposici\u00f3n.","desc_en":"The first time I saw the\u00a0<em>Sleeping Hermaphrodite<\/em>, from the distance, it attracted my attention more than the other sculptures with who was sharing room. It seemed a femenine body, laying, backwards. Directly, I approached to her. Different from other classic sculptures, this one has no front either behind. It consists in an asleep figure, in the right moment when her body starts to activate to turn around and change position.\u00a0Her rotative movement makes you go around her, tracing her action to see her entire and you didn't reach to understand her until you have round it: the sheet with what is parcially covered has tangled with the foot that, in the movement, that pull her and reveals her body, discovering her genitals that starts lean out at the same time the abdomen it will separates from the floor.\r\n\r\nIt consists in one of the 'Sleeping\u00a0Hermaphrodites' that are actually preserved, a tipology of sculpture very well valuated in the ancient Rome.
