L\u2019espurna d\u2019aquest nou estat creatiu s\u2019enc\u00e9n durant un viatge al Brasil, on l\u2019artista comen\u00e7a a sentir un tremolor constant al cos que li dificulta l\u2019acci\u00f3 de dibuixar. Aquesta alteraci\u00f3 f\u00edsica, directament vinculada a un estat emocional, marca l\u2019inici d\u2019un proc\u00e9s de recerca al voltant de la connexi\u00f3 entre el cos i l\u2019acte art\u00edstic, amb la voluntat de dissoldre les fronteres entre ambd\u00f3s \u00e0mbits.\r\n\r\nAquest impuls el condueix cap a un treball in\u00e8dit, caracteritzat per l\u2019ambig\u00fcitat i la indeterminaci\u00f3. De Diego s\u2019abandona a una experi\u00e8ncia art\u00edstica menys cerebral i m\u00e9s corp\u00f2ria, allunyant-se del control mental \u2014de l\u2019an\u00e0lisi, el c\u00e0lcul, la planificaci\u00f3\u2014 per explorar la f\u00edsica del plaer i el patiment durant l\u2019acte de pintar. La seva obra esdev\u00e9 un espai on conviure amb una tensi\u00f3 constant, sense filtres, com si la pintura fos una prolongaci\u00f3 del cos, un sensor sensible per relacionar-se amb la realitat.\r\n\r\nLa por, el plaer, la necessitat de gaudir, la vulnerabilitat de l\u2019\u00e9sser\u2026 tots aquests estats es manifesten en formes pict\u00f2riques balbucejants i voluptuoses: selves, fruits, morfologies i sonoritats que l\u2019artista esbossa, retalla, desdibuixa i abstreu. La pintura esdev\u00e9, aix\u00ed, un vehicle per transitar la fantasia i repensar el sentit de l\u2019art i el seu comprom\u00eds amb l\u2019exist\u00e8ncia.\r\n\r\nGen\u00eds de Diego<\/strong>\u00a0(Barcelona, 1988) \u00e9s artista visual amb taller a l\u2019Hospitalet de Llobregat. Graduat superior en Il\u00b7lustraci\u00f3 a l\u2019Escola Serra i Abella de l\u2019Hospitalet, i graduat en Belles Arts a la Universitat de Barcelona, des del 2017 forma part de l\u2019equip docent de l\u2019Escola d\u2019Art Llotja (Barcelona). La Fundaci\u00f3n Arranz-Bravo presenta\u00a0Temblar hasta que llegue la tormenta<\/em>, un proyecto de Gen\u00eds de Diego concebido como un ejercicio de experimentaci\u00f3n pict\u00f3rica desde el cual explorar el lado m\u00e1s pulsional de su personalidad. La chispa de este nuevo estado de \u00e1nimo se enciende durante un viaje a Brasil, en el transcurso del cual el artista empieza a sentir un temblor constante en el cuerpo que le dificulta la acci\u00f3n de dibujar. Esta alteraci\u00f3n f\u00edsica, estrechamente ligada a su estado emocional, marca el inicio de un proceso de investigaci\u00f3n sobre la relaci\u00f3n entre lo que ocurre en el cuerpo y lo que sucede en el proceso art\u00edstico, con la voluntad de conectar ambos planos en un \u00fanico impulso instintivo.<\/p>\r\n

Este impulso lo ha llevado a desarrollar un trabajo in\u00e9dito, marcado por la ambig\u00fcedad y la indeterminaci\u00f3n. De Diego se entrega ahora a una experiencia art\u00edstica menos cerebral y m\u00e1s corp\u00f3rea, alej\u00e1ndose del control de la mente \u2014el an\u00e1lisis, el c\u00e1lculo, la planificaci\u00f3n\u2014 y tomando conciencia, durante el acto art\u00edstico, de la f\u00edsica del placer y del sufrimiento. Explora as\u00ed la convivencia con una tensi\u00f3n constante, que se percibe sin filtros en la obra, como si la pintura se convirtiera en una extensi\u00f3n del cuerpo, en un sensor a trav\u00e9s del cual relacionarse con la realidad.<\/p>\r\n

El miedo, el placer, la exigencia de disfrutar, la vulnerabilidad del ser\u2026 todos estos estados sensibles se amalgaman en su trabajo a trav\u00e9s de formas pict\u00f3ricas balbuceantes y voluptuosas: selvas, frutos, morfolog\u00edas, sonoridades que el pintor esboza, identifica, recorta, desdibuja y abstrae. La pintura entendida como veh\u00edculo para transitar la fantas\u00eda que le permite repensar el sentido del arte y su compromiso con la existencia.<\/p>\r\n

Gen\u00eds de Diego (Barcelona, 1988) es artista visual con taller en L\u2019Hospitalet de Llobregat. Graduado superior en Ilustraci\u00f3n en la escuela Serra i Abella (L\u2019Hospitalet) y graduado en Bellas Artes por la Universidad de Barcelona, desde 2017 forma parte del equipo docente de la Escuela de Arte Llotja (Barcelona). The Arranz-Bravo Foundation presents\u00a0Tremble Until the Storm Comes<\/em>, a project by Gen\u00eds de Diego conceived as an exercise in pictorial experimentation, through which the artist explores the most instinctive and visceral side of his personality. The spark for this new creative state ignited during a trip to Brazil, where he began to experience a persistent tremor in his body that made drawing physically difficult. This bodily alteration, deeply linked to his emotional state, marked the beginning of an investigation into the relationship between what happens in the body and what occurs in the artistic process \u2014 an attempt to connect both dimensions in a single, instinctive flow.<\/p>\r\n

This experience has led him to develop a new body of work defined by ambiguity and indeterminacy. De Diego now embraces an artistic experience that is less cerebral and more corporeal, moving away from mental control \u2014analysis, calculation, planning\u2014 and becoming aware, in the act of creation, of the physical presence of both pleasure and pain. His paintings convey an unfiltered tension, as if the canvas became part of the body\u2019s own sensory system for relating to the world.<\/p>\r\n

Fear, pleasure, the pressure to enjoy, the vulnerability of being\u2026 all these emotional states converge in his work through painterly forms that are stammering and voluptuous: jungles, fruits, morphologies, and sonic resonances that the artist sketches, identifies, cuts, erases, and abstracts. Painting becomes a vehicle for navigating the fantasy that allows him to rethink the meaning of art and its connection to existence.<\/p>\r\n

Gen\u00eds de Diego (Barcelona, 1988) is a visual artist based in L\u2019Hospitalet de Llobregat. He holds a degree in Illustration from Serra i Abella School (L\u2019Hospitalet) and a Fine Arts degree from the University of Barcelona. Since 2017, he has been part of the teaching staff at Escola d\u2019Art Llotja (Barcelona).
