Mitjan\u00e7ant un proc\u00e9s meticul\u00f3s que pot durar fins a dos mesos per pe\u00e7a, Staudinger aconsegueix que superf\u00edcies daurades prenguin vida amb la llum, creant imatges que varien segons l\u2019angle de l\u2019espectador. Un treball en qu\u00e8 l\u2019or deixa de ser nom\u00e9s un material per convertir-se en llum, profunditat i moviment.\r\n\r\n<em>\u201cAl principi, es col\u00b7locaven c\u00f2pies grans de fotografies de diaris sobre superf\u00edcies de fusta tova banyades en or. Amb el temps, nom\u00e9s es van utilitzar fotografies preses per mi. Els punts negres i les \u00e0rees de la plantilla es tracen sobre les superf\u00edcies daurades amb la pressi\u00f3 del llapis; el llapis marca lleugerament la superf\u00edcie daurada, i en aquesta depressi\u00f3, despr\u00e9s de retirar la plantilla, es refracta la llum reflectida. Les il\u00b7lusions \u00f2ptiques resultants s\u00f3n visibles des d\u2019un angle espec\u00edfic de la llum; canvien d\u2019aparen\u00e7a segons la posici\u00f3 de l\u2019observador. Quan la llum incideix sobre la superf\u00edcie de manera que brilla, l\u2019or obre un espai profund, les imatges semblen emetre llum activa i el motiu brilla amb total claredat. Un trabajo donde el oro deja de ser solo un material para convertirse en luz, profundidad y movimiento.\r\n\r\n<em>\u201cAl principio, se colocaban copias grandes de fotos de peri\u00f3dicos sobre superficies de madera blanda ba\u00f1adas en oro. Con el tiempo, solo se utilizaron fotograf\u00edas tomadas por m\u00ed. Los puntos negros y las \u00e1reas de la plantilla se trazan sobre las superficies doradas con la presi\u00f3n del l\u00e1piz; el l\u00e1piz marca ligeramente la superficie dorada, y en esta depresi\u00f3n, tras retirar la plantilla, se refracta la luz reflejada. Las ilusiones \u00f3pticas resultantes son visibles desde un \u00e1ngulo espec\u00edfico de la luz; cambian de apariencia seg\u00fan la posici\u00f3n del observador. Cuando la luz incide sobre la superficie de forma que brilla, el oro abre un espacio profundo, las im\u00e1genes parecen emitir luz activa y el motivo brilla con total claridad. This solo exhibition brings together a selection of works created using his unique gold embossing technique. Through a meticulous process that can take up to two months per piece, Staudinger brings golden surfaces to life in the light, creating images that vary depending on the viewer\u2019s angle. A work where gold ceases to be merely a material and becomes light, depth, and movement.\r\n\r\n<em>\u201cInitially, large copies of newspaper photos were placed on gold-plated softwood surfaces. Over time, only photographs taken by me were used. The black dots and stencil areas are traced onto the gilded surfaces with pencil pressure; the pencil lightly marks the gilded surface, and in this depression, after the stencil is removed, the reflected light is refracted. The resulting optical illusions are visible from a specific angle of light; they change appearance depending on the observer\u2019s position. When light shines on the surface, the gold opens up a deep space, the images appear to emit active light, and the motif shines with complete clarity.
