Durant una performance de so, el territori dels voltants de La Capella tornar\u00e0 a ser cartografiat, tenint en compte no tan sols les exclusions i omissions, sin\u00f3 tamb\u00e9 les experi\u00e8ncies viscudes i els coneixements locals d\u2019aquelles persones que hi resideixen. La performance inclour\u00e0 objectes per compartir records ac\u00fastics i sons nost\u00e0lgics dels territoris que s\u2019han deixat enrere. Aquests objectes, que seran adquirits als voltants de La Capella, seran articles quotidians, instruments estrangers i diversos \u00edtems sentimentals.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>Dania Shihab<\/strong>\r\n\r\nDania Shihab \u00e9s artista sonora. Nascuda a Bagdad, criada a Tasm\u00e0nia i actualment radicada a Barcelona, divideix el seu temps entre Espanya i els racons remots d\u2019Austr\u00e0lia, on treballa com a metgessa d\u2019urg\u00e8ncies. Ha tocat en espais com Caf\u00e9 OTO i La Casa Encendida, i en festivals com S\u00f3nar, Sonic Acts i Mira. Objeto-territorio will question established notions of borders by using sound as a means of redefining space. Sound is capable of transcending established notions of space because it is intangible. During a sound performance, the territory around La Capella will once again be mapped, taking into account not only exclusions and omissions, but also the lived experiences and local knowledge of those residing there. The performance will include objects to share acoustic memories and nostalgic sounds of territories left behind. These objects, to be obtained around La Capella, will be everyday objects, foreign instruments and various sentimental objects.\r\n\r\n<em>\u00a0<\/em>\r\n\r\n<em><strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Dania Shihab<\/span><\/strong><\/em>\r\n\r\nDania Shihab is a sound artist. Born in Baghdad, raised in Tasmania and currently based in Barcelona, she divides her time between Spain and the remote corners of Australia, where she works as an emergency doctor. She has performed in venues such as Caf\u00e9 OTO and La Casa Encendida and at festivals such as S\u00f3nar, Sonic Acts and Mira. She completed a residency in Providenza and was selected for the SHAPE+ platform in 2024.
