A l'artista li fascina la pregunta de qu\u00e8 queda despr\u00e9s que un moment ha passat, i cerca constantment imatges i fotografies que li diguin alguna cosa. Les troba en grans quantitats en Internet o en her\u00e8ncies de persones mortes, normalment rebutjades, i creu que aix\u00f2 es deu al fet que la gent no vol destruir-les. Li agrada la idea que aquests moments en el temps, oblidats fa temps, cobrin nova vida davant el p\u00fablic. Hi ha una cosa familiar en aquestes imatges. Tenen una qualitat universal, com si conegu\u00e9s a aquestes persones.\r\n\r\nAdolphs pinta r\u00e0pidament, a vegades fent m\u00faltiples pintures de la mateixa imatge, intentant recrear la vida de la fotografia. A trav\u00e9s d'aquest proc\u00e9s, la vida del moment registrat s'ha restaurat i, en certa manera, continua existint. Aix\u00f2 \u00e9s el que m\u00e9s li interessa. A la artista le fascina la pregunta de qu\u00e9 queda despu\u00e9s de que un momento ha pasado, y busca constantemente im\u00e1genes y fotograf\u00edas que le digan algo. Las encuentra en grandes cantidades en Internet o en herencias de personas fallecidas, normalmente desechadas, y cree que eso se debe a que la gente no quiere destruirlas. Le gusta la idea de que esos momentos en el tiempo, olvidados hace tiempo, cobren nueva vida ante el p\u00fablico. Hay algo familiar en estas im\u00e1genes. Tienen una cualidad universal, como si conociera a esas personas.\r\n\r\nAdolphs pinta r\u00e1pidamente, a veces haciendo m\u00faltiples pinturas de la misma imagen, intentando recrear la vida de la fotograf\u00eda. A trav\u00e9s de este proceso, la vida del momento registrado se ha restaurado y, en cierto modo, sigue existiendo. The artist is fascinated by the question of what remains after a moment has passed, constantly trawling for images and photographs that speak to her. She finds them in bulk online or from deceased estates, usually discarded \u2013 she thinks that\u2019s because people are unwilling to destroy them. She likes the idea that these moments in time, that are long-forgotten, receive a new life in front of an audience. There is something familiar in these images. They have a universal quality, as though these people are known to her.\r\n\r\nAdolphs paints quickly, sometimes making multiple paintings of the same image, attempting to recreate the life of the photograph. Through this process, the life of the recorded moment has been restored, and in a way, still exists. This is what interests her the most.
