El t\u00edtol\u00a0<i>I paint what I\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: line-through\">don't\u00a0<\/span>want to see<\/i>\u00a0remet a la frase c\u00e8lebre de l'artista Philip Guston, qui va trencar amb l'expressionisme abstracte i la seva solemnitat per tornar a una figuraci\u00f3 que plasmava el seu m\u00f3n tangible, dignificant aix\u00ed la representaci\u00f3 de l'objecte ordinari.<\/div>\r\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\r\n<div dir=\"ltr\">D\u00f3ra segueix el fil de Guston, per\u00f2 en el seu cas els objectes que incorpora a les seves obres no s\u00f3n nom\u00e9s tangibles, sin\u00f3 tamb\u00e9 mediatitzats: menjar r\u00e0pid, auriculars o peses de gimn\u00e0s s\u00f3n consumits (en tots els sentits) di\u00e0riament a trav\u00e9s de les xarxes socials i la publicitat, i suposen una cartografia de la vida contempor\u00e0nia. Aquesta, per\u00f2, no \u00e9s\u00a0una cr\u00edtica de la societat del consum sin\u00f3 m\u00e9s aviat una representaci\u00f3. En resposta amb aix\u00f2, D\u00f3ra utilitza la fisicitat de la pintura en representar aquests objectes en el llen\u00e7 com a \u201ctemps lent\u201d, tant de creaci\u00f3 com de contemplaci\u00f3, invertint-ne el valor i apel\u00b7lant a l'anal\u00f2gic com a acte de resist\u00e8ncia.<\/div>\r\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\r\n<div><\/div>\r\n<div>L'exposici\u00f3 tamb\u00e9 treballa sota el concepte d'<i>Efecte secundari<\/i>, que remet al mateix proc\u00e9s pict\u00f2ric. Les formes ovalades que es repeteixen en l'obra de D\u00f3ra \u2014auriculars, peses i recipients de salsa\u2014 fan\u00a0al\u00b7lusi\u00f3 a la forma d'una pastilla. Com un medicament, que combina efectes desitjats i conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncies imprevistes, D\u00f3ra planifica un resultat, per\u00f2 en aquest hi apareixen desviacions i accidents inesperats que acaben formant part de la mateixa obra. El t\u00edtulo\u00a0<em data-start=\"1914\" data-end=\"1948\">I paint what I d\u0336o\u0336n\u0336'\u0336t\u0336 want to see<\/em>\u00a0remite a la c\u00e9lebre frase del artista Philip Guston, quien rompi\u00f3 con el expresionismo abstracto y su solemnidad para volver a una figuraci\u00f3n que plasmaba su mundo tangible, dignificando as\u00ed la representaci\u00f3n del objeto ordinario.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2183\" data-end=\"2854\">D\u00f3ra sigue el hilo de Guston, pero en su caso los objetos que incorpora a sus obras no son solo tangibles, sino tambi\u00e9n mediatizados: comida r\u00e1pida, auriculares o pesas de gimnasio se consumen (en todos los sentidos) diariamente a trav\u00e9s de las redes sociales y la publicidad, y suponen una cartograf\u00eda de la vida contempor\u00e1nea. Esto, sin embargo, no es una cr\u00edtica a la sociedad de consumo sino m\u00e1s bien una representaci\u00f3n de la misma. Como respuesta, D\u00f3ra utiliza la fisicidad de la pintura al representar estos objetos en el lienzo como \u201ctiempo lento\u201d, tanto de creaci\u00f3n como de contemplaci\u00f3n, invirtiendo su valor y apelando a lo anal\u00f3gico como acto de resistencia.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2856\" data-end=\"3477\">La exposici\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n trabaja bajo el concepto de\u00a0<em data-start=\"2906\" data-end=\"2925\">Efecto secundario<\/em>, que remite al propio proceso pict\u00f3rico. Las formas ovaladas que se repiten en la obra de D\u00f3ra \u2014auriculares, pesas y recipientes de salsa\u2014 aluden a la forma de una pastilla. Como un medicamento, que combina efectos deseados y consecuencias imprevistas, D\u00f3ra planifica un resultado, pero en este aparecen desviaciones y accidentes inesperados que terminan formando parte de la propia obra. This, however, is not a critique of consumer society but rather a representation. In line with this, D\u00f3ra uses the physicality of painting in representing these objects on canvas as a form of \u201cslow time,\u201d both in creation and in contemplation, reversing their value and appealing to the analog as an act of resistance.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1157\" data-end=\"1738\">The exhibition also operates under the concept of\u00a0<em data-start=\"1207\" data-end=\"1220\">Side Effect<\/em>, which refers to the pictorial process itself. The oval shapes that recur in D\u00f3ra\u2019s work\u2014headphones, weights, and sauce containers\u2014evoke the form of a pill. Like a medicine, which combines desired effects with unforeseen consequences, D\u00f3ra plans a result, but deviations and unexpected accidents appear, which end up becoming part of the work itself.
