\r\n\r\nTaller de revitalitzaci\u00f3 de la cal\u00b7ligrafia precolonial filipina baybayin. Abans de la colonitzaci\u00f3 espanyola i la imposici\u00f3 de l\u2019escriptura llatina, els pobles de les illes compt\u00e0vem amb el nostre sistema\u00a0abugida<\/i>\u00a0o alfabet sil\u00b7labari. Aquest sistema estava connectat a l\u2019entorn: els sons, el mar, les onades i les petxines. La revitalitzaci\u00f3 de la nostra cal\u00b7ligrafia \u00e9s una de les maneres de resistir al colonialisme i a l\u2019imperialisme que les di\u00e0spores pinxys han estat fent servir en l\u2019\u00faltima d\u00e8cada. N\u2019explicarem la hist\u00f2ria i la seva pr\u00e0ctica actual i experimentarem amb diferents m\u00e8todes com materialitzar aquesta escriptura.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n

\r\n\r\nTaller de revitalizaci\u00f3n de la caligraf\u00eda precolonial filipina baybayin. Antes de la colonizaci\u00f3n espa\u00f1ola y la imposici\u00f3n de la escritura latina, los pueblos de las islas cont\u00e1bamos con nuestro propio sistema abugida o alfabeto silabario. Este sistema estaba conectado con el entorno: los sonidos, el mar, las olas y las conchas. La revitalizaci\u00f3n de nuestra caligraf\u00eda es una de las formas de resistir al colonialismo y al imperialismo que las di\u00e1sporas pinxys llevan usando en la \u00faltima d\u00e9cada. \r\n\r\nWorkshop on revitalization of pre-colonial Philippine baybayin calligraphy. Before the Spanish colonisation and the imposition of the Latin script, the peoples of the islands had their own abugida, or syllabary alphabet, system. This system was connected to the environment: the sounds, the sea, the waves and the shells. The revitalisation of our calligraphy is one of the forms of resistance to colonialism and imperialism that the Filipinx diaspora have been using for the last decade. We will explain its history and current practice and will experiment with different methods to materialise this writing.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n
