La inauguraci\u00f3n tendr\u00e1 lugar de 18 a 21 h en la galer\u00eda AWL (C\/ Santa Eug\u00e8nia, 5, 17001 Girona).","desc_en":"Woman Life Freedom: Evolution of a Revolution\r\n\r\nThe carpet that gives its name to the exhibition \u201cWoman Life Freedom: Evolution of a Revolution\u201d is a work that Tere Recarens has drawn directly on the floor of B\u00f2lit La Rambla.\r\n\r\nThis carpet, featuring a geometric scheme inspired by the tradition of the Chahar Bagh, presents different episodes and events from the history of Iran in a random sequence that blends past and present occurrences, functioning as a narrative that seeks to foster solidarity in the face of the many injustices affecting the country.\r\n\r\nIn this meeting, the artist will guide us through the history of Iran as we walk across the carpet and will present the expansion of her pictorial work developed in response to the events that have taken place in Iran in recent weeks.\r\n\r\nThe creation of this dispositif, conceived by the artist together with curators Anahita Nassir and Carles Guerra, makes it possible to integrate orality, performativity, and presence\u2014elements that are central to Tere Recarens\u2019 practice\u2014into the historical framework embodied by the carpet.\r\n\r\nThis activity is organized in collaboration with AWL Gallery, on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition \u201cAt the Image\u2019s Edge\u201d by Youssef Taki.
