Aquest treball estudia la biografia i la pr\u00e0ctica art\u00edstica de la ballarina Carmen\u00a0T\u00f3rtola\u00a0Valencia i de la seva parella, \u00c0ngels\u00a0Magret-Vila, i comen\u00e7a a desplegar tantes capes de pensament que l\u2019artista decideix proposar-lo com un projecte que l\u2019acompanyar\u00e0 en els temps venidors.\r\n\r\nFins avui ha llegit de tot, ha mirat durant hores les mateixes fotografies i ha mogut les mans tra\u00e7ant traject\u00f2ries impossibles. En la insist\u00e8ncia d\u2019aquestes pr\u00e0ctiques s\u2019ha anat obrint una via d\u2019intu\u00efci\u00f3 i d\u2019imaginaci\u00f3 de la qual brollen hist\u00f2ries i desenlla\u00e7os possibles, tan possibles que, de vegades, l\u2019artista s\u2019atreveix a afirmar que \u201caix\u00ed va passar sens dubte\u201d.\r\n\r\nAquesta recerca t\u00e9 el rigor que neix de la necessitat d\u2019anomenar i de trobar-se amb balises hist\u00f2riques; de pensar que les amants de fa 120 anys tamb\u00e9 feien festes precioses i es feien petons entre totes. I de recordar que no totes les pr\u00e0ctiques art\u00edstiques que passen a la hist\u00f2ria s\u00f3n les que voldr\u00edem, i que d\u2019altres que ens encantarien no ho fan perqu\u00e8 queden silenciades.\r\n\r\nAquest ser\u00e0 el primer gest d\u2019una recerca intensa, llarga en el temps i tentacular en la seva forma, que en aquest moment consisteix a practicar davant del p\u00fablic l\u2019exercici de mirar profundament una imatge fins que la informaci\u00f3 es mogui, fins que sentim les veus que cont\u00e9 la imatge, fins que es bellugui el buit que hi ha entre una imatge i la seg\u00fcent.","desc_es":"<strong>MI\u00c9RCOLES DE SONIDO Y CUERPO con Lara Brown<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<i>T\u00f3rtola Valencia<\/i>,\u00a0<i>T\u00f3ooORTOLAaaaValenCia<\/i>: con esas palabras resonando en su cabeza, la artista se adentra en una investigaci\u00f3n dom\u00e9stica iniciada hace casi dos a\u00f1os. Este trabajo estudia la biograf\u00eda y la pr\u00e1ctica art\u00edstica de la bailarina Carmen T\u00f3rtola Valencia y de su pareja, \u00c0ngels\u00a0Magret-Vila, y empieza a desplegar tantas capas de pensamiento que la artista decide proponerlo como un proyecto que la acompa\u00f1ar\u00e1 en los tiempos venideros.\r\n\r\nHasta hoy ha le\u00eddo de todo, ha mirado durante horas las mismas fotograf\u00edas y ha movido las manos trazando trayectorias imposibles. En la insistencia de estas pr\u00e1cticas se ha ido abriendo una v\u00eda de intuici\u00f3n y de imaginaci\u00f3n de la que brotan historias y desenlaces posibles,\u00a0tan posibles que, a veces, la artista se atreve a afirmar\u00a0que\u00a0\u201cas\u00ed sucedi\u00f3 sin duda\u201d.\r\n\r\nEsta investigaci\u00f3n\u00a0tiene el rigor que nace de la necesidad de nombrar y de encontrarse con balizas hist\u00f3ricas; de pensar que las amantes de hace 120 a\u00f1os tambi\u00e9n hac\u00edan fiestas preciosas y se daban besos entre todas. Y de recordar que no todas las pr\u00e1cticas art\u00edsticas que pasan a la historia son las que desear\u00edamos, y que otras que amar\u00edamos no lo hacen porque quedan silenciadas.\r\n\r\nEste ser\u00e1 el primer gesto de una investigaci\u00f3n intensa, larga en el tiempo y tentacular en su\u00a0forma, que en este momento consiste en practicar frente al p\u00fablico el ejercicio de mirar profundamente una imagen hasta que la informaci\u00f3n se mueva, hasta que\u00a0oigamos\u00a0las voces que la imagen contiene, hasta que se baile el hueco que existe entre una imagen y la siguiente.","desc_en":"<strong>WEDNESDAYS OF SOUND AND BODY with Lara Brown<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<i>T\u00f3rtola\u00a0Valencia<\/i>,\u00a0<i>T\u00f3ooORTOLAaaaValenCia<\/i>: with these words echoing in her head, the artist embarks on a home-based research project that began almost two years ago. This work explores the life and artistic practice of the dancer Carmen\u00a0T\u00f3rtola\u00a0Valencia and her partner,\u00a0\u00c0ngels\u00a0Magret-Vila, and has unfolded into so many layers of thought that the artist has decided to frame it as a project that will\u00a0accompany\u00a0her in the years to come.\r\n\r\nTo date, she has read everything she can find, spent hours gazing at the same photographs, and moved her hands tracing impossible paths. The persistence of these practices has\u00a0opened up\u00a0a channel of intuition and imagination, from which stories and\u00a0possible endings\u00a0emerge, so plausible that, at times, the artist dares to say, \u201cThat is undoubtedly how it happened\u201d.\r\n\r\nThis research is characterised by the rigour that springs from the need to name and to seek out historical landmarks; from imagining that lovers one hundred and twenty years ago also threw beautiful parties and showered one another with kisses; and from remembering that not all artistic practices that go down in history are the ones we would choose, and that others we might adore do not make it there because they are silenced.\r\n\r\nThis will be the first step in an intense, long-term, far-reaching research project.
