His practice encompasses painting, sculpture, installation, and digital\r\nmedia. Over the past decade, he has presented 16 solo exhibitions and participated in\r\nnumerous international art fairs, festivals, and artistic projects across North America, Latin\r\nAmerica, the Middle East, Asia, and Europe.\r\nThe title of the exhibition, Portals Origin of the Void, refers to the beginning of a process of\r\ntransformation: the transition from one state to another. The portal is not conceived as a\r\nliteral door, but as a symbol of a shift in consciousness\u2014a threshold of deep connection, the\r\nexperience of passing through something. The void, meanwhile, is not understood as absence,\r\nbut as a living, silent space charged with potential. It is the state reached after crossing the\r\nportal: a territory of pause, shelter, and possibility where inner transformation can take place.\r\nThe exhibition proposes a dialogue between installation and works on canvas, constructing a\r\njourney in which both practices complement one another and generate a unified experience\r\naround the two concepts that articulate the show: portals and voids.\r\nThe show is structured around two light fissures four meters high, with circular sand bases,\r\nwhich function as central presences from which the rest of the work expands. These fissures,\r\nthe core pieces of the exhibition, act as energetic presences, almost like columns of light, that\r\nstructure and organize the space, radiating toward the surrounding works. Beyond referencing\r\nconsciousness and the ethereal, they also evoke fundamental patterns found in nature, such as\r\nlightning, rivers, mountain ranges, or cracks in rock formations. Meanwhile, the paintings\r\n\r\nbegin with a dark, monochromatic palette that gradually becomes illuminated. These circular-\r\nform works belong to the Void series and explore the void as a space for contemplation.","event_category":103,"event_show_only_own_date":true,"_event_confirmed":true,"_event_public":true,"_event_free":true,"_event_price-min":"","_event_price-max":"","_event_web_ca":"https:\/\/www.escatgallery.com","_event_web_es":"https:\/\/www.escatgallery.com","_event_web_en":"https:\/\/www.escatgallery.com","event_contact_email":"trafalgar@escatgallery.com","event_apply_email":"trafalgar@escatgallery.com","is_online_event":false,"is_art_nou_event":false,"is_bgw_event":false,"date_text":"","register_deadline":null,"altres_organitzadors":""},"abe_event_venue":"Escat Gallery","abe_event_category":"Exposici\u00f3","start":"2026-01-27 00:00:00","end":"2026-02-28 23:59:00","schedule":"once","schedule_meta":"","frequency":1,"all_day":1,"until":"2026-01-27 00:00:00","include":[],"exclude":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/graf.cat\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/events\/53968","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/graf.cat\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/events"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/graf.cat\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/event"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/graf.cat\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/185"}],"occurrences":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/graf.cat\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/events\/53968\/occurrences"}],"acf:term":[{"embeddable":true,"taxonomy":"event-category","href":"https:\/\/graf.cat\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/event-category\/103"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/graf.cat\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/53965"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/graf.cat\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=53968"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"event-venue","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/graf.cat\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/event-venues?post=53968"},{"taxonomy":"event-tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/graf.cat\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/event-tags?post=53968"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
