No es tracta nom\u00e9s d\u2019una t\u00e8cnica, sin\u00f3 d\u2019una manera de mirar.\r\n\r\nSituada en el context de la pintura postmoderna madrilenya, Patricia Gadea va desenvolupar una pr\u00e0ctica ecl\u00e8ctica i de fort colorisme, travessada pel collage i per referents de la cultura pop. La seva obra, des del principi, s\u2019inscriu en el context de la Movida, un moment marcat per la hibridaci\u00f3 de llenguatges i la dissoluci\u00f3 de jerarquies. Amb el proc\u00e9s de canvi democr\u00e0tic a Espanya, el seu treball actua com un dispositiu cr\u00edtic que interpel\u00b7la els imaginaris dominants de l\u2019\u00e8poca des d\u2019una posici\u00f3 conscient i provocadora. Gadea assimila aquestes influ\u00e8ncies per q\u00fcestionar-les.
