Treballant principalment en 16mm i Super 8mm, Dozier construeix peces \u00edntimes i confrontativas que q\u00fcestionen les narratives dominants entorn del g\u00e8nere, la moral i l'autonomia del cos.\r\n\r\nA trav\u00e9s de figures com la filla, l'amant, la treballadora sexual o la creient, aquestes obres exploren com la intimitat transaccional redefineix les din\u00e0miques de cura, poder i vulnerabilitat en les relacions contempor\u00e0nies. Els seus films, travessats pel pensament feminista negre, l'autoficci\u00f3 i estrat\u00e8gies surrealistes, generen espais sensorials on l'experi\u00e8ncia personal i les hist\u00f2ries col\u00b7lectives s'entrellacen.\r\n\r\n \r\n

bios<\/strong><\/h4>\r\nAyanna Dozier<\/a> <\/strong>(PhD) \u00e9s una artista i escriptora radicada a Brooklyn. La seva pr\u00e0ctica art\u00edstica se centra en la performance, el cinema experimental, el gravat i la fotografia, utilitzant m\u00e8todes d'autoficci\u00f3, surrealistes, conceptuals i feministes. La seva recerca en cinema explora la hist\u00f2ria de la distribuci\u00f3, l'arqueologia f\u00edlmica i el treball radical de cineastes experimentals feministes negres. bios<\/strong><\/h4>\r\nAyanna Dozier<\/a> <\/strong>(PhD) is a Brooklyn-based artist-writer. Her art practice centers performance, experimental film, printmaking and photography, using auto-fiction, surrealist, conceptual, and feminist methods. Her research on film navigates the history of distribution, archaeology, and radical work of Black feminist experimental filmmakers. While her current research and artwork is dedicated to examining how transactional intimacy (like sex work) redistributes care from the private sector into the public, social politics of relations. She is currently an assistant professor in communication, emphasis in film, at University Massachusetts, Amherst and is the author of Janet Jackson\u2019s The Velvet Rope (2020).\r\n\r\nValentina Alvarado Matos.<\/strong><\/a> Visual artist and filmmaker. Her work addresses issues related to memory and territory through a dialogue with the materiality of film, paper, voice, and ceramics. Her practice, akin to collage, weaves together reflections on diasporic identity, memory, and landscape.
