I si la foscor pogu\u00e9s fer apar\u00e8ixer coses que normalment no podem veure?\r\n\r\nEn aquest taller familiar convertirem l\u2019espai en un petit laboratori de llum i penombra. Jugarem amb focus, teles i siluetes per observar com les formes canvien segons la dist\u00e0ncia, l\u2019angle o el moviment. Descobrirem que una imatge pot expandir-se, deformar-se o esvair-se en q\u00fcesti\u00f3 de segons.\r\n\r\nA trav\u00e9s del teatre d\u2019ombres, inventarem personatges que donin forma a all\u00f2 que no sembla visible: idees, records o mons imaginaris. Com es pot accedir a tot el que queda fora de l\u2019angle de visi\u00f3?\r\n\r\nA l\u2019assaig\u00a0Visi\u00f3n\u00a0perif\u00e9rica<\/em>,\u00a0Marina Garc\u00e9s repassa com, en termes filos\u00f2fics, al llarg dels segles el sentit de la visi\u00f3 ha estat transferit del regne del sensible al de la ra\u00f3, de l\u2019objectivitat i la categoritzaci\u00f3. Per\u00f2 Garc\u00e9s tamb\u00e9 s\u2019interroga sobre la possibilitat de recuperar una mirada\u00a0segrestada\u00a0pel capitalisme i el consum viral per tal de retornar-la al pla corporal, sensible i afectiu. Quines noves visualitats es desplegarien si ens acost\u00e9ssim a all\u00f2 que queda a les perif\u00e8ries de la mirada des de la visi\u00f3 sensible? \u00bfTe imaginas que tu sombra pudiera contar una historia que no has dicho en voz alta? \u00bfY si la oscuridad pudiera hacer aparecer cosas que normalmente no podemos ver?<\/p>\r\n

En este taller familiar convertiremos el espacio en un peque\u00f1o laboratorio de luz y penumbra. Jugaremos con focos, telas y siluetas para observar c\u00f3mo las formas cambian seg\u00fan la distancia, el \u00e1ngulo o el movimiento. Descubriremos que una imagen puede expandirse, deformarse o desvanecerse en cuesti\u00f3n de segundos.<\/p>\r\n

A trav\u00e9s del teatro de sombras, inventaremos personajes que den forma a aquello que no parece visible: ideas, recuerdos o mundos imaginarios. Jugando, probando y observando, entenderemos que no todo lo que existe tiene cuerpo, y que a veces es en la penumbra donde las historias m\u00e1s sorprendentes comienzan a aparecer.<\/p>\r\n

La exposici\u00f3n Una imatge que engoleix, que xucla<\/em> \u2013 t\u00edtulo inspirado en la publicaci\u00f3n Lo visible es un material inestable<\/em> de la artista Eva Lootz \u2013 aborda c\u00f3mo el arte puede anticipar, evocar o insinuar cuestiones y estructuras latentes, potenciales o que mantienen su car\u00e1cter de posibilidad. \u00bfC\u00f3mo se muestra aquello que (todav\u00eda) no existe? \u00bfC\u00f3mo se puede acceder a todo lo que queda fuera del \u00e1ngulo de visi\u00f3n?<\/p>\r\n

En el ensayo Visi\u00f3n perif\u00e9rica<\/em>, Marina Garc\u00e9s repasa c\u00f3mo, en t\u00e9rminos filos\u00f3ficos, a lo largo de los siglos el sentido de la visi\u00f3n ha sido transferido del \u00e1mbito de lo sensible al de la raz\u00f3n, la objetividad y la categorizaci\u00f3n. Sin embargo, Garc\u00e9s tambi\u00e9n se interroga sobre la posibilidad de recuperar una mirada secuestrada<\/em> por el capitalismo y el consumo viral para devolverla al plano corporal, sensible y afectivo. \u00bfQu\u00e9 nuevas visualidades se desplegar\u00edan si nos acerc\u00e1ramos a aquello que queda en las periferias de la mirada desde una visi\u00f3n sensible? \u00bfPuede lo intangible hacerse materia?<\/p>\r\n

Caterina Almirall despliega una propuesta curatorial formada por una selecci\u00f3n de proyectos residentes en Roca Umbert durante 2025 que tensan y desdibujan los l\u00edmites de la visualidad y la representatividad. Can you imagine your shadow telling a story you haven\u2019t said out loud? What if darkness could make things appear that we normally cannot see?<\/p>\r\n

In this family workshop, we will transform the space into a small laboratory of light and penumbra. We will play with spotlights, fabrics, and silhouettes to observe how shapes change depending on distance, angle, or movement. We will discover that an image can expand, deform, or fade in a matter of seconds.<\/p>\r\n

Through shadow theatre, we will invent characters that give form to what does not seem visible: ideas, memories, or imaginary worlds. By playing, experimenting, and observing, we will understand that not everything that exists has a body, and that sometimes it is in the penumbra where the most surprising stories begin to emerge.<\/p>\r\n

The exhibition Una imatge que engoleix, que xucla<\/em> \u2013 a title inspired by the publication Lo visible es un material inestable<\/em> by the artist Eva Lootz \u2013 explores how art can anticipate, evoke, or suggest latent, potential, or yet-to-emerge issues and structures. How can that which does not (yet) exist be shown? How can we access everything that lies outside the field of vision?<\/p>\r\n

In the essay Visi\u00f3n perif\u00e9rica<\/em>, Marina Garc\u00e9s reflects on how, in philosophical terms, over the centuries the sense of vision has been transferred from the realm of the sensible to that of reason, objectivity, and categorization. However, Garc\u00e9s also questions the possibility of reclaiming a gaze seized<\/em> by capitalism and viral consumption in order to return it to a bodily, sensory, and affective plane. What new visualities might unfold if we approached what lies at the peripheries of vision from a sensitive perspective? Can the intangible become material?<\/p>\r\n

Caterina Almirall presents a curatorial proposal composed of a selection of projects in residence at Roca Umbert during 2025 that stretch and blur the limits of visuality and representation.
