Amb una rica barreja d\u2019all\u00f2 ic\u00f2nic, all\u00f2 desconegut, all\u00f2 m\u00edtic i all\u00f2 ingenu, les pintures i les talles de fusta pintades que componen les vitrines de Tom Cullberg<\/b> \u2014artista nascut a Su\u00e8cia i establert a Sud-\u00e0frica\u2014 ens conviden de seguida a apropar-nos i a q\u00fcestionar all\u00f2 que creiem entendre. A les vitrines, cadascuna de les quals \u00e9s un m\u00f3n en si mateixa, les imatges i els objectes entaulen un di\u00e0leg que canvia i s\u2019intensifica sota la mirada de l\u2019espectador. Un muntatge de panells pintats i talles de fusta ens submergeix en paisatges m\u00edtics i reals; recorre edificis antics i contemporanis; i desperta la ment amb inspiracions musicals i liter\u00e0ries. Habitant les escenes que perfilen, les talles pintades \u2014des de diminutes figures i cotxes antics fins a rel\u00edquies anal\u00f2giques com rellotges, cintes de casset i lloms de llibres\u2014 semblen capturades en un bucle nost\u00e0lgic d\u2019arribades i partides, connectades amb les pintures que posen en primer pla, per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 diferents.<\/p>\r\n
L\u2019obra de Cullberg evoca preguntes al voltant de les nocions de temps i lloc.
