Paintings","desc_ca":"Joan Claret va ser durant molt temps un artista amb una gran projecci\u00f3 internacional i un dels valors m\u00e9s destacats de la pintura abstracta catalana de la segona meitat del segle XX. Darrerament s\u2019han dut a terme varis projectes expositius que han contextualitzat el seu treball i n\u2019han destacat la seva rellev\u00e0ncia. Amb aquesta exposici\u00f3, 1959 - Joan Claret. Pintures, volem contribuir no nom\u00e9s a destacar la figura de l\u2019artista, sin\u00f3 tamb\u00e9 a centrar-nos en un sol any de la seva carrera \u2013 un any en qu\u00e8 l\u2019artista proposa per primer cop un conjunt d\u2019obres que es convertiran en el fonament de tota la seva carrera posterior.\r\n\r\nTotes les obres de la mostra provenen de la col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 de l\u2019artista i la majoria es veuran per primera vegada despr\u00e9s de dur a terme un acurat treball de neteja i conservaci\u00f3 per a protegir aquest important llegat i recuperar-ne la for\u00e7a i els matisos originals. El resultat \u00e9s un conjunt de pintures extraordin\u00e0ries que testimonien la for\u00e7a que, igual que amb l\u2019obra de Joan Vilacasas, Joan Puig Manera o Enric Planasdur\u00e0, entre d\u2019altres, tingu\u00e9 la pintura geom\u00e8trica i la cin\u00e8tica a casa nostra durant els 50 i els 60.\r\n\r\nDe fet, l\u2019any 1959 va ser crucial per a Joan Claret; tamb\u00e9 \u00e9s l\u2019any en el qual torna de Par\u00eds i du a terme la primera exposici\u00f3 individual a la Sala Gaspar. Va significar la ruptura definitiva amb la pintura de ress\u00f2 cl\u00e0ssic i figurativa que havia fet despr\u00e9s d\u2019abandonar la carrera d\u2019arquitectura a principis dels 50 i engegava un cam\u00ed centrat en el constructivisme. La seva aposta va ser valenta i decidida, ja que hem de tenir en compte que pr\u00e0cticament tot l\u2019espai art\u00edstic d\u2019aquell moment l\u2019ocupava l\u2019informalisme. Cirici-Pellicer ja va dir de Claret que era un \u201cpintor constructivista pur, un heroi resistent vers l\u2019informalisme\u201d. El 1959, doncs, \u00e9s l\u2019any en el que Claret abra\u00e7a d\u2019una manera totalment conven\u00e7uda una pintura geom\u00e8trica, inspirada pels seus coneixements arquitect\u00f2nics alhora que estableix una evident dist\u00e0ncia formal amb la nombrosa comunitat art\u00edstica informalista del moment.\r\n\r\n<b>Barcelona Gallery Weekend\r\n\u26a1\ufe0e Programa Flash: nom\u00e9s del 17 al 20 de setembre<\/b>","desc_es":"Joan Claret fue durante mucho tiempo un artista con una gran proyecci\u00f3n internacional y uno de los valores m\u00e1s destacados de la pintura abstracta catalana de la segunda mitad del siglo XX. \u00daltimamente se han llevado a cabo varios proyectos expositivos que han contextualizado su trabajo y han destacado su relevancia. Con esta exposici\u00f3n, 1959 Joan Claret Pinturas, queremos contribuir no solo a poner en valor la figura del artista, sino tambi\u00e9n a centrarnos en un \u00fanico a\u00f1o de su carrera: un a\u00f1o en el que el artista propone por primera vez un conjunto de obras que se convertir\u00e1n en el fundamento de toda su trayectoria posterior.\r\n\r\nTodas las obras de la muestra proceden de la colecci\u00f3n del artista y la mayor\u00eda se ver\u00e1n por primera vez despu\u00e9s de realizar un cuidadoso trabajo de limpieza y conservaci\u00f3n para proteger este importante legado y recuperar su fuerza y matices originales. El resultado es un conjunto de pinturas extraordinarias que testimonian la fuerza que, al igual que en la obra de Joan Vilacasas, Joan Puig Manera o Enric Planasdur\u00e0, entre otros, tuvo la pintura geom\u00e9trica y cin\u00e9tica en Catalu\u00f1a durante los a\u00f1os 50 y 60.\r\n\r\nDe hecho, el a\u00f1o 1959 fue crucial para Joan Claret: tambi\u00e9n es el a\u00f1o en que regresa de Par\u00eds y realiza su primera exposici\u00f3n individual en la Sala Gaspar. Supuso la ruptura definitiva con la pintura de ra\u00edz cl\u00e1sica y figurativa que hab\u00eda realizado tras abandonar la carrera de arquitectura a principios de los a\u00f1os 50, iniciando un camino centrado en el constructivismo. Su apuesta fue valiente y decidida, ya que pr\u00e1cticamente todo el espacio art\u00edstico de aquel momento estaba ocupado por el informalismo. With this exhibition, 1959 Joan Claret Paintings, we aim not only to emphasise the importance of the artist, but also to focus on a single year of his career \u2014 a year in which he first presented a body of work that would become the foundation of all his later artistic production.\r\n\r\nAll the works in the exhibition come from the artist\u2019s collection, and most will be shown publicly for the first time following careful cleaning and conservation work carried out to protect this important legacy and restore its original strength and nuances. The result is a remarkable group of paintings that demonstrate the vitality that geometric and kinetic painting had in Catalonia during the 1950s and 1960s, as also seen in the work of Joan Vilacasas, Joan Puig Manera and Enric Planasdur\u00e0, among others.\r\n\r\nIndeed, 1959 was a crucial year for Joan Claret: it was also the year he returned from Paris and held his first solo exhibition at Sala Gaspar. His commitment was bold and determined, especially considering that the artistic scene at the time was largely dominated by Informalism.
