La noci\u00f3 de lar \u2014que remet tant a la llar com als lars, figures tutelars de la tradici\u00f3 romana vinculades a la protecci\u00f3 de l\u2019\u00e0mbit dom\u00e8stic\u2014 evoca una idea de recer, continu\u00eftat i pertinen\u00e7a. Tanmateix, en ser travessada pel que \u00e9s liminar, la llar deixa de presentar-se com un terreny estable per esdevenir llindar: un espai de pas on les formes d\u2019habitar es troben en constant reformulaci\u00f3.<\/p>\r\n

Lar liminar<\/em> unfolds as a field of thought structured around the tension between the desire for rootedness and the experience of transition. The notion of lar\u2014which refers both to the home and to the lares, tutelary deities in Roman tradition associated with the protection of the domestic sphere\u2014evokes ideas of shelter, continuity, and belonging. Yet, when traversed by the liminal, the home ceases to appear as stable ground and instead becomes a threshold: a space of passage where modes of inhabiting are subject to constant reformulation.<\/p>\r\n

The works brought together in Lar liminar<\/em>\u2014by the eleven emerging artists selected for this edition of T\u00c0NDEM\u2014participate in this same condition of transition. Within them, the yearning for rootedness\u2014whether in relation to territory, memory, or materiality\u2014coexists with an awareness of its instability.<\/p>\r\n

Within the context of Casa R.A.R.O., Lar liminar<\/em> acquires a particularly tangible dimension. The space hosting the T\u00c0NDEM residencies operates as a transitional home for emerging artists: a place that sustains without fixing, that welcomes without closure.<\/p>\r\n
