2a Sessi\u00f3 \u2014 Construcci\u00f3 i confecci\u00f3<\/h5>\r\nDimarts 29 de setembre de 17h a 20h<\/strong>\r\n\r\nA partir de teixits 100% reciclats del taller, ajuntarem merma, brodarem, intervindrem les peces, construirem els nostres monstres fets amb restes i deixalla t\u00e8xtil.\r\n\r\n \r\n

bio<\/strong><\/h4>\r\nSofia Archer <\/strong>\u00e9s dissenyadora, patronista i costurera, fundadora de Sofia Archer Lab.<\/em>, un taller de creaci\u00f3 i experimentaci\u00f3 t\u00e8xtil. El seu treball es vincula a l'activisme, advocant per la mort al g\u00e8nere des d'una mirada decolonial, antiracista i pol\u00edtica. Ent\u00e9n la sostenibilitat com una pr\u00e0ctica col\u00b7lectiva i emancipadora. Promou noves narratives a trav\u00e9s del fer roba, teixint comunitat i fomentant modes de producci\u00f3 m\u00e9s justos i responsables.\r\n\r\nValeria Molinari <\/strong>\u00e9s una artista vene\u00e7olana, que actualment viu a Barcelona. Curiosa des de la inf\u00e0ncia, Valeria es mou entre diferents mitjans i t\u00e8cniques depenent del projecte en el qual estigui enfocada. En els \u00faltims 15 anys, els fils (i el brodat espec\u00edficament), s'han tornat una de les seves passions. Li agrada explorar les possibilitats del mitj\u00e0 per a plasmar missatges en instal\u00b7lacions art\u00edstiques i tamb\u00e9 utilitzant-lo com a eina per a fer apeda\u00e7ats visibles allargant la vida de la roba que la gent considera m\u00e9s preuada. Actualment, Valeria treballa com a il\u00b7lustradora freelance, tamb\u00e9 fa classes de color en una maestria de brodat, i imparteix tallers locals i virtuals d'apeda\u00e7at i de brodat tant b\u00e0sic com intermedi i avan\u00e7at.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n

Actualmente, Valeria trabaja como ilustradora freelance, tambi\u00e9n da clases de color en una maestria de bordado, e imparte talleres locales y virtuales de remendado y de bordado tanto b\u00e1sico como intermedio y avanzado.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n

Session 1 \u2014 Concept Development and Pattern Making<\/h5>\r\nTuesday, September 15 from 17h to 20h<\/strong>\r\n\r\nIn the first session, we will develop the concept and design we want to create and make the necessary patterns.\r\n\r\n \r\n
Session 2 \u2014 Construction and Sewing<\/h5>\r\nTuesday, September 29 from 17h to 20h<\/strong>\r\n\r\nUsing 100% recycled fabrics from the workshop, we will piece together scraps, embroider, and assemble the pieces to create our monsters made from textile scraps and waste.\r\n\r\n \r\n

bio<\/strong><\/h4>\r\nSofia Archer <\/strong>is a designer, patternmaker, and seamstress, and the founder of Sofia Archer Lab.<\/em>, a workshop dedicated to textile creation and experimentation. Her work is rooted in activism, advocating for the end of gender through a decolonial, anti-racist, and political lens. She views sustainability as a collective and emancipatory practice. She promotes new narratives through clothing design, building community, and fostering fairer and more responsible production methods.\r\n\r\nValeria Molinari <\/strong>is a Venezuelan artist currently living in Barcelona. Curious since childhood, Valeria moves between different media and techniques depending on the project she is working on. Over the past 15 years, thread (and embroidery specifically) has become one of her passions. She enjoys exploring the medium\u2019s potential to convey messages through art installations, as well as using it as a tool to make mending visible, thereby extending the life of the clothes people hold most dear. Currently, Valeria works as a freelance illustrator, teaches color theory in a master\u2019s program in embroidery, and leads in-person and online workshops on mending and embroidery at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n
\r\n\r\nThese workshops are part of Sofia Archer\u2019s research project \u201cBon bagay\u201d supported by one of the Barcelona CREA \u2013 La Escocesa 2026 Artist-in-Residence Grants<\/a>.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n
