A partir d\u2019aquesta imatge, Oscar Holloway desplega una constel\u00b7laci\u00f3 d\u2019imatges en qu\u00e8 el porr\u00f3 apareix com un objecte familiar i alhora estrany. La inversi\u00f3 de l\u2019estri converteix el desordre en una via d\u2019afirmaci\u00f3 a trav\u00e9s de la festa, entesa com a resist\u00e8ncia col\u00b7lectiva. Una hist\u00f2ria feta de gestos m\u00ednims, d\u2019enginy i d\u2019una certa alegria en el desordre. La fotograf\u00eda, conservada en el Arxiu d\u2019Etnografia i Folklore de Catalunya, registra con precisi\u00f3n esta manera poco ortodoxa de beber: \u00abpor arriba\u00bb o \u00abpor abajo\u00bb. Una historia hecha de gestos m\u00ednimos, de ingenio y de cierta alegr\u00eda en el desorden. The photograph, preserved in the Arxiu d\u2019Etnografia i Folklore de Catalunya, precisely records this unconventional way of drinking: \u201cfrom above\u201d or \u201cfrom below.\u201d Starting from this image, Oscar Holloway unfolds a constellation of photographs in which the porr\u00f3<\/i> appears as a familiar yet strangely unfamiliar object. Turning the vessel upside down transforms disorder into a form of affirmation through celebration, understood as a form of collective resistance. It disrupts hierarchies and stands in opposition to the rigidity of the individual, productive body associated with the hygienic glass or wine glass.<\/p>\r\n

Bringing together archival material and images collected by the artist, TANT PER DALT COM PER BAIX<\/i> (as above so below) traces a small history of this practical and ubiquitous object, reclaiming indiscipline, spontaneity, and community. It is a history made up of small gestures, ingenuity, and a certain joy in disorder.
