ArtBarcelona. Galeries
Since its founding in 1990, ArtBarcelona has promoted joint initiatives of galleries dedicated to discovering, disseminating and defending contemporary art. After more than 30 years of history, the ArtBarcelona galleries continue working with the main objective of expanding the city’s cultural offering and enhancing its presence on the international art scene.
We defend the role of the gallery owner as an agent that promotes cultural heritage, offering the public free access spaces in which they are informed about art trends and new languages and new artists are promoted.
We promote initiatives that attract citizens to galleries, also understood as open spaces from which to generate reflection and debate around contemporary culture.
We participate in the cultural life of Barcelona, getting involved in the events that have marked its recent history and we play a prominent role in platforms for debate and coordination of cultural strategies.
